Located only a 5-minute walk from Lake Toya, Hokkai Hotel offers an outdoor and an indoor hot-spring bath, a rooftop orchid greenhouse and free WiFi at the lobby. Japanese-style rooms are decorated with Japanese ornaments, and feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and a low table with seating cushions. Guests at the Hokkai can relax in an outdoor or indoor public hot-spring bath, which are separate by gender. The hotel offers laundry service and room service. Hotel Hokkai specializes in seafood dishes and local vegetables. Dinner and a breakfast meal or buffet are served at the dining room, which features Japanese as well as Western seating. Hokkai Hotel is a 15-minute bus ride from JR Toya Station. Sapporo and New Chitose Airport are each a 2-hour drive away.

“Great scenic location but with horrible laundry”

“Beautiful, relaxing stay for a family of 4. Would”
We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. The rooms were clean, tidy and Japanese style. The location was fantastic. There was a playground next door. The view was amazing. It was within walking distance to restaurants and convenience store. Plenty of parking space. The onsens were dividing between men and women. Also an outside onsen. It was a relaxing and peaceful stay. Would stay again.

The hotel is well located. The room is a really nice Japanese style room with a nice view on the lake. Breakfast was really nice and the woman in charge of it was really nice and helpful.
