The owner (husband) was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring I have a good stay. He gave good advice for palces to go and personally met me around the check-in time. The individual rooms with locks was good.

“Great host, clean facilities and good location.”
The location was excellent but the best part was the kind owner who made us feel very welcome and even gave us a lift back to the station. we were lucky in the sense that we were the only guests staying there during our stay.

“Clean cozy little flat”
The place is enough for our family of 5. Owner was very friendly, he came to meet us, gave us some snacks and drinks, and recommended some nice eating place which we went and enjoyed the food very much. It's a short walk to the lakeside which is good for morning walk. Thank you host.

“Lovely place to stay!”
The owner was absolutely lovely! The rooms were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for getting to the grand onsen, and wasn't far from several bus stops to get around Lake Toya. There is a coin laundry and a great sushi place next door. We were allowed to store our bags in the laundry on the day of check out, which helped up make the most of our last day. Would 110% stay here again

The extra toothbrashes, the room itself with all its sleeping facilities ready for both cold and warm nights. It was great.

We had the property to ourselves which was a great help. The owner gave us vouchers for a discounted onsen and because one of us was resident in Japan they were able to include us in the Hokkaido voucher scheme to encourage internal tourism

The lady who runs the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are basic but clean and comfortable. You can use the beautiful onsen at a nearby hotel at a cheap price.
