Overview
Located right in front of Lake Toyako, Daiwa Ryokan Annex features lake views in all rooms. Guests can use the free Wi-Fi at the public areas and refresh at the indoor public hot-spring bath. JR Toya Train Station is a 15-minute drive away. Each room features tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Air conditioning/heating facilities, a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle are provided. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Free parking is on site and the front desk offers luggage storage. Photocopying services are available as well and drink vending machines can be found on site. Breakfast comes with fried eggs, sausages and rice. All meals are served at the dining room. Ryokan Daiwa Annex is a 15-minute drive from Sairo Observatory and a 30-minute drive from Muroran Port.

“Best view from a hotel room ever!”
Absolutely stunning view of the lake from our room. Comfy lounge chairs and coffee table at the windows. Very comfortable beds. Onsen in basement. Could view nightly fireworks from our room. Short walk to cafes, restaurants, convenience stores. Spotlessly clean. Nice big room.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The Hotel has an oldschool/80ies vibe which we really liked. The futon beds were comfy. The fireworks were visible from our room on the third floor. Although there was only a smoking room available (we're both non smokers) the room was clean and did not smell. And the best: the onsen is also available for heavily tattooed people. No cover stickers needed.

“A real experience of a Japanese inn. We really enjoyed it.”
The traditional Japanese inn experience. Japanese style room with futon and tatami mats. Communal hot spring bath house with natural volcanic spring water. View over the lake. Japanese style breakfast included in price. Friendly staff.

The ryokan offers a nice view over the lake and the shared onsen is big and inviting (and tatoo friendly). You can chooses between Japanese and Western breakfast. We all had the Japanese breakfast and loved it.

The view on the lake was incredible. You can see the fireworks from the room! The tatami room was nice. The hot baths are separated for men and women. The women's hot bath was amazing, the water is really hot! The hotel is in front of the lake and there are lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

The breakfast is good and thoughtful. The view in the room is super (with Toya lake, mountain and firework)! The hotel staff are polite and kind. The Japanese room is large and comfortable.

“Fantastic”
The owner was very nice and helpful he called the taxi for us and helped out even if we speak limited Japanese. The facilities were nice and clean.
