Overview
Set in Banff National Park and the village of Lake Louise, this hotel features an indoor hot tub. Free Wi-Fi and satellite TV are provided in all rooms. A variety of activities can be enjoyed at the lake itself, just 5 minutes’ drive away. An en suite bathroom and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room at Mountaineer Lodge. The traditionally styled rooms also include a mini fridge. Lodge Mountaineer is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Lake Louise Gondola and skiing at Lake Louise Mountain Resort. It is conveniently located near shops, restaurants and Trans-Canada Highway 1.

All of it was wonderful. Amazing spa, great staff, big comfy bed, great location. Delicious breakfast. Staff gave us a late check out so we could watch the champions league final. Our favourite hotel of our trip.

Very close to lake Louise and a restaurant. Very clean and quiet room. Breakfast variety was ok (unless you are vegetarian) but there was no dairy milk alternative

“A brief stay in Lake Louise on a family trip”
This is a modest hotel but the rooms have been recently renovated and the results are striking. The attention to detail and to improving guests experience is extraordinary. The bathrooms for example have automatic low lighting for nighttime. The range of lighting in the bedroom/kitchenette allows lighting to be optimized for any situation. The kitchenette has a kettle!! in addition to a coffee machine as well as a small microwave and decent size refrigerator. We all found the staff to be efficient and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The location is really good - a short walk to restaurants and shops.
