Location was perfect - spent hours outside looking at the view. Property had everything I needed for my stay. People at tourist office v helpful and pointed me in the direction of a great swim spot on the lake and a couple of excellent walks

The location was stunning with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. The environment was tranquil and warm and welcoming. We did lots of hikes and swimming. Barbara was the perfect host. Communication prior to our arrival and during our stay was excellent. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed. We stayed 5 nights and could easily have stayed longer to continue exploring the area and surrounding towns.

Great property with scenic views over the mountains. Very clean and very appointed. Bed was probably the most comfortable of our 28 night journey around BC. It's 20 minute stroll to the town / village centre. Quiet area with no traffic noise. Be aware that the parking space for your vehicle is down a steep gravel slope so it's best to reverse down as reversing back up the slope would be difficult in some vehicles

Very friendly host, she did so much to give our baby a pleasant stay as well, we appreciated that. And best home so far. Home as advertised, modern and with a complete kitchen. Totally different if you compare it with for example Whistler, where the apartment was outdated and broken and Vacasa is just an automatic reply robot. We cherish the stay at Cowichan Calling and recommend it to everyone!

We were so pleasantly surprised by how beautiful this accommodation was, with a carport outside our entrance. As two older women with walking disabilities, this was a plus! The decor and layout are perfect, and the space was so well equipped - we lacked for nothing re appliances, amenities, etc. And we had a great view which is what we were primarily interested in. Kudos to the owners for the upgrades!! Also having owners on site gives an extra level of comfort and security.

We loved the location, the view, how beautiful and well stocked the apartment was, the bathroom was a dream, the smart tv with Netflix was great for the evenings and I appreciated the responsiveness of the hosts. We definitely have to come back!

Very clean! A beautiful boutique hotel. The owners are thoughtful and diligent keeping the place highly organized, the lawn neat and clean, the fireplace makes you feel comfy on cold evening, full kitchen with lots of utensils to make cooking easy, bath room sparkling…..and you can sit outside comfortably overlooking part of the lake surrounded by mountains for quiet chat and read. Relaxing, private and safe.
