I enjoyed my peaceful overnight stay at the Ancient Lahij Guest House. The host family was very kind and friendly, and the dinner and breakfast were sumptuous. It's located at the outskirts of Lahij, and has a big parking space. One can easily walk to the historical old town. The host is also very knowledgeable and provided useful information about Lahij and the culture in Azerbaijan. I felt very relaxed and slept quite well. I'd recommend this guest house for a comfortable stay.

We had a serious problem when we arrived in the village. They did everything they could to help us and we eventually managed to sort it out (and even though we arrived very late, they still gave us dinner). We are very grateful. Thank you very much

Our host was very hospitable and we had a great time in Lahic. Food was delicious, we had a nice evening together. The area is beautiful and we were lucky to stay in the apartment. It felt very homely and the price is low, especially with breakfast included.

Dadash was a very welcoming host. The homemade dinner was delicious and they made it vegetarian for me. The house is located near the top of a steep rise. The views to the Caucasus Mountains were lovely.

The host Dadash and his wife made us feel very at home. Dadash entertained us with interesting conversations while we ate the delicious homemade meal his wife prepared for us. The room was nice and clean, and the guest house was well located with a pretty view overlooking the village and the surrounding mountains. As a note: future guests should have cash prepared to pay for the room as it is not possible to pay on booking and the nearest ATM is at a 20 minute walk.

“Amazing hospitality and beautiful, scenic location”
We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse! The warm hospitality we received was exceptional, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. Although the guesthouse is located up on a steep hill and our driver couldn't drive up all the way, the owner kindly drove down in his 4WD to pick us up. We wished we could have extended our stay in Lahij to go hiking/trekking in the area.
