Great hotel in a historical building. very comfortable bed and great stay! They have an incredible rooftop and a small kitchen that is super helpful as the city does not have coffee places (it’s not a tradition in the area to have long breakfasts). Terry was lovely!

Laguardia is an absolute must-see — a stunning little gem full of charm, history, and incredible views. We stayed at El Retiro Obispo, and it was fantastic. The place is full of character, beautifully kept, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable — exactly what you want after a day exploring the town. But the real highlight was Terri — an absolute legend! Warm, welcoming, and full of spot-on local recommendations. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. If you’re visiting Laguardia (and you definitely should), don’t think twice — stay here. Highly recommend!

The building and room were full of character. The owner, Terri was extremely warm and helpful. Location is fabulous, there's a public car park outside down the street.

Perfect hosts in a beautiful village. The property, the room, and location were amazing... our two boys (cockerpoos) were made so welcome. The only downside was we had just one night.... Hopefully, we'll be back for longer on way to or from the Santander ferry in the future ...
