A real gem; stay here and be sure to book dinner and breakfast-there is nothing better in Lagodehki. David the host was so helpful sorting out local hikes for us and telling us stories about local legends. So welcoming. The room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. A beautiful spot just outside the town centre.

Nice guesthouse with attentive hosts. The location is suitable for a visit of the national park. The food is tasty and plenty. We very much enjoyed the comfortable lounge on the upper terrace.

Absolutely amazing place! The cute owners Davit and Marina are so lovely and full of hospitality that you immediately feel extremely welcome! They provide delicious food (in quantities no one can finish) both for dinner (including lots of homemade wine and chacha for 30 GEL) as well as breakfast (for 20 GEL) and Davit is happy to show how the wine and chacha is made. He is just perfectly communicating with guests via Google Translate and his humor made the stay even more perfect! And last but not least: The room was good as well! So we can only highly recommend this place!

“Hospitable, kind, great welcome to Georgia - you should go!”

One of our best ever stays anywhere in the world. Staying with Davit and Marina feels like staying with your nicest, warmest family members. They are unbelievably hospitable and helpful. Davit does not speak English but this is no problem with Google translate and we were making jokes from the moment of arrival. If they offer the option to add meals, I definitely recommend it! The food, wine and chacha is very good value and delicious. Davit gave great tips for the national park and helped us with our onwards transit to Tbilisi. Lagodehki is an amazing place to stay if you are coming by land from Azerbaijan - the trails are wonderful and we did a great walk to a waterfall. We were also able to do laundry at the property which was very helpful. I only wish we had stayed for longer.

Perfect place to stay in Lagodekhi. Comfortable location in the centre, nice spacious rooms, beautiful garden, terrace, delicious home food. Very friendly, helpful, easygoing owners. Atmosphere of Georgian home. If you need any help or tips about the area, transfers to the hiking trails, the owners are always ready to help. We enjoyed our stay a lot! And planning to return back. Recommended!

The host Davit did everything to make sure we had the best possible stay. We didn't have a common language, but communicated with the help of Google Translate. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling. Beautiful garden for relaxing. Good location if you want to visit the national park.

5/8/24: Peaceful, quiet, clean, and close to the National Park for hikes and river swims. The hosts were most hospitable, kind, and accommodating. The food was excellent. Would certainly recommend.

This is SUCH special place! Marina and David are the kindest hosts we could imagine! Also the garden is beautiful, especially the room with extra terasse. We recommend you to eat there its delicious, and the variety of Marinas homemade dishes is fantastic! Thank you for taking such good care of us, we felt at home and definitely would love to come another time again:)

Imagine you are visiting your good friends. It is much more than a hotel, it is rather your family. Comfy room, delicious breakfasts and dinners by Marina (much better than any restaurant!), priceless guidelines and narratives by Davit. That is an ultimate Georgian hospitality in beautiful lands of Lagodekhi. 5 min. walk to National Park, short drive to all main attractions of Kakheti. Highly recommended! We will definitely come again.

“Wonderful hosts in a beautiful landscape”

Our stay at the Winehouse was really wonderful, David and his wife are just great hosts and were always keen to help. The food and the homemade wine was delicious and David gave us even a bottle as a present when we left. We highly recommend the Winehouse!

Everything was great. The hosts are wonderful people and will do anything to help you. Your chances of leaving with less weight than when you arrived are zero! Excellent tasty food and wine, good company and good humour. (This is only the second time I have given a perfect score)

I can only echo what others have said. The accomodation is very comfortable, but the host and the person service and treatment are just incredible.

I loved the friendliness of the hosts (google Translate is a marvel). The Georgian dinner i had was excellent the best i had in the caucaus, with great wine. The setting in the mountains was lovely.

The hosts were beyond attentive and helpful. Everything was clean and we had some of the best food during our time in Georgia. Worth every penny, we truly enjoyed our stay!

Nice and cosy guest house not far from the National Park. Davit is a very hospital and friendly host. I would undoubtedly recommend this place.

“Exceptional hosts!”

We really loved our stay here. The hosts were exceptional! They helped us to arrange a horse riding trip in the national park, gave us some delicious treats to enjoy when we arrived, and made an amazing homemade dinner and breakfast for us. The room was also great for our one night stay. Staying here helped us to experience the true Georgian culture, and we would definitely recommend it to others. We hope to visit again soon, but for longer next time!

“Probably the best place you can stay when you are in Lagodekhi!”

From the very beginning we felt very welcome and comfortable at Davit‘s cozy guest house. We were a bit too early and Davit helped us with our excursions in the national park. We were also offered tea and coffee. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We strongly recommend to also order dinner and breakfast. This was really the best meals we got during our trip through Georgia. All in all we can really recommend Davit‘s guesthouse when you are in Lagodekhi. We will come back, that’s for sure.
