Beautiful little oasis! Friendly welcome by the hosts and their precious dog. We had the smallest room so if you have a lot of luggage it is not ideal. For the two of us it was fine! Decorated well and very clean. The pool is very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious each morning! We used our car to get around the area - only a short ride to the beach at Lacanau Oceán.

“Idyllic stay in Lacanau”
We had an amazing stay at VillaCanau. The property is beautifully done. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was very nice. Good base location as it is close to lake and also the coast. We were sad to leave after 3 nights.

“Absolutely stunning”
Absolutely stunning, from the moment we arrived we were looked after. Attention to detail is second to none. The property is immaculate, bed extremely comfy (had one of my best nights sleep), breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Thank you both for letting us into your home, absolutely beautiful

Incredibly nice place with a selective design and super friendly and open hosts. The nice garden with the comfortable pool and also the nice rooms allow to really come done and relax. The breakfast was enjoyable and the hosts were doing an effort to even arrange special stuff to deal with special necessities.

“Peaceful Comfortable Fabulous”
We loved our stay at Villacanau. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are immaculate; the furnishings are chic; the pool is refreshing; and the breakfasts are a delight. We cannot wait to return! Villacanau is located near two supermarkets and within short distance to the lake, however, its situation is also quiet and secluded. The beach is an idyllic bike ride away through the pine forest.

“Great style and vibe”
Nicely designed wooden chalet style complex ~ very stylish and cool vibe atmosphere ~great breakfast~charming hosts~lovely pool~great attention to detail comfortable beds~ very good wifi ~we had the 1 small room which had tiny shower toilet area which wasn't ideal~the hosts very kindly opened up the next door lounge area to give us a bit more feeling of space which was very kind of them~all the other rooms are larger but we booked pretty much last minute~this is a quality above what's generally available in the area

“Wooden highlight near beach and winery”
What a nice place, a little gem. We had such a good time there and the two owners have a good balance between action and interaction and respect each privacy in such a (almost own) family home..
