This hotel features a large sun terrace with views of the Kiel Fjord and the surrounding beach. Hotel Admiral Scheer offers maritime-themed accommodation in the Baltic sea-side town of Laboe. Rooms at the Hotel Admiral Scheer range from bright, nautical-style rooms to classically decorated cabin-style rooms. All offer free WiFi and some feature views of Laboe Harbour. The hotel boasts a seafood restaurant, Heimathafen, which sources fresh fish from the harbour market daily. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or on the terrace, which features a ship-shaped bar. The German Submarine U-995, which was converted into a museum in 1971, is just 50 metres from the hotel. Unveiled in 1936, the famous Laboe Naval Memorial is a 2-minute walk away. Laboe Hafen Train Station is a 15-minute walk from the accommodation and provides direct links to Kiel, a 25-minute journey away. The B502 road can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

“Fantastic location, great breakfast included friendly welcome”
Fantastic location with sea and sunset views from the bedroom window Directly opposite there’s a pretty beach and a small beach kiosk so you can sit in a deckchair and have a drink while watching the sunset. Incredible Friendly staff We hadn’t realised from booking that breakfast was included. It was a very good breakfast so great value for money

“Basic hotel with an overpriced asking price. Probably due to its beach location.”
Everything was in place and working. However, way too little offered for the price. Including the breakfast. Basics were all fine and in place, but that´s it.

We've stayed here before. great view from our room to the beach and U-boat and sea. Always something going on when you look out the window. Our room was bright and spacious and window allowed plenty of ventilation. Excellent breakfast included. We also ate in the restaurant on our second night and the meal was excellent

“Perfect location on the edge of the Baltic”
Just by the German Navy memorial and in front of the preserved U-boat may not appear an obvious place for English visitors but this is a terrific location and both deserve a visit and respect. Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast - there are good restaurants nearby for dinner.
