“It is a beautiful resort on the beach and we found staying there very relaxing.”

We did not eat breakfast. We participated in the Mexican Dinner which was delicious. The hospitality of Toni and Nelly was wonderful and they were so helpful.

Spacious room, has access to its own beach. They also rent kayaks and paddle boards. Quiet and clean.

Nely was always taking care of us and gave us great recommendations for activities and organizing everything for a wonderful stay. The breakfast is amazing. There is a kitesurfing school that is part of the hotel and my husband was very happy with the trainers. The rooms are clean and cozy our view to the ocean was incredible. We were there at the end of the last year and the 31st December and we enjoyed the starry sky is the most wonderful sky that I have seen. We were feeling at home

“One-of-a-kind Experience”

Brilliant! each unit is independent cottage style, overlooking the stunning Ventana bay with glorious sunsets every day. Kitchen is only open for breakfast on request - it seems we were there in a slower season.

The resort was just perfect. the room was very clean and confortable. Dinner and breakfast were very good. you need to book them in advance. But the most incredible pet of our stay at Ventana Bay Resort was Nelly! On our last day, I forgot my camera at the reception. we made a 4 hours road before I noticed it. At that time we were below Cabo pulmo… I thought my camera was definitely lost, and it should have been the case nearly everywhere in the world , but thanks to Nelly, not in Ventana bay resort. She took care of my camera as she is naturally doing with the abandoned dogs and the cats crossing her life. Then during her day off she took her car and drove thill where we were to bring me back my camera. I can’t explain the surprise it was to see her arriving at our hotel with a huge smile… and the camera. nobody should have done this for me in Belgium! But Nelly did cause it s somebody like that always smiling and trying to help whoever your are.. a lonely dog, a cat searching a loving house or a stupid Belgian tourist ;0). One million thanks For everything Nelly! hope to see you in Belgium in the future. big kisses from katty and myself!

Breakfast was excellent. The resort is beautifully appointed with Mexican architecture, decor and landscaping and very peaceful.

“Choose your own adventure, beachy stay!”

The location was right on the beach, with perfect access. The staff was very friendly, and the experience was super hands off. They run off a honor system that was refreshing to use. It really felt like you were out there on your own which we loved. We had the beach view bungalow, great view of the sunrise! The outdoor shower was perfect as we were diving and spearfishing as our main acitivities. They have bikes, kayaks and paddle boards for rent. Just a great place, the manager Toni was so friendly and attentive - he was always available on whats app, though we only texted like 3 times - not sure if this place is for people who need more hand holding, but Toni seems like the guy who is willing to make many situations work, no problem without a solution! Thanks for the great stay! Can't wait to come back.

the loveliest hotel I have ever been. The resort is embedded into the natural environment, and we could watch the sunrise from the hammock infront of our room, close to the beach. We got a nice introduction into the facility and could select between many activities like cycling, paddling, of snorkling on the reef nearby

“We loved the staff and location.”

Breakfast was great. Location is perfect. Right on beach but enough trees to block the strong winds. Even a little snorkeling out front when the air is calm.

“We had a great time kiting, kayaking and relaxing in warm weather and in a beautiful spot.”

The breakfast was delicious on the deck overlooking the ocean as were the dinners we had. We loved spending time in the bar just chilling in the shade, working or for happy hour.

“Time at La Ventana”

Lovely couple of welcoming/ introductory emails Each bungalow was set in its own little secluded garden area , not overtly overlooked. The hotel complex is sited at the edge of the beach so short walk down through complex. Dining and bar area overlook the beach. The bar is an honesty bar ...we were there in February so might be a bit stressful as no one manning anything much.... The staff were all very friendly and went an extra distance as my husband had fallen very unwell with stomach bug before we arrived and was celebrating his birthday so they brought him breakfast in bed ...lovely gentle care. Limited English spoken but we managed together to figure things out. The hotel is on the northern side of La Ventana so you have to drive straight through the town, off the tarmac road up the sand road for about 1.5 km before seeing the metal gate on right hand side and then have to open gate and drive down a steep incline to reception.

We stayed in a beautiful bungalow- really comfortable with a magnificent view. The food was delicious and the staff really friendly and efficient.

Loved this spot - was perfect for an excellent kitesurfing vacation!

“Peaceful and relaxed”

Great communication before check in and during our stay, lovely staff and a good breakfast. There was an issue with the room rate we'd booked that the hotel is checking out with Booking.Com - it caused a bit of stress at check out but the person dealt with it really well and gave great customer service.
