Great located in centre of La Union. Marta was a great host, let us leave our bags at the hostel overnight while we camped on the volcano and helped us with the local bus to Las Tunas. Her parrot was hilarious and the kitchen area was great. The AC in the rooms was also good.

The owner was so helpful and friendly! This is a well run, tradition hostel with a well equipped shared kitchen and immaculately kept communal seating area on the terrace for relaxing.

I got AC in my private from 3pm. The staff were lovely and very accommodating - we left our bags there for one night for free while doing Conchagua. The kitchen was good (could’ve been a little more equipped - eg. Very broken sponge for washing up). Location was pretty central.

A really interesting building in a good location. I was lucky enough to have the entire dorm room to myself, which made for a very comfortable night's stay. Providing a free towel and water was a really nice touch!

Lovely hostal ...really funky decor. The owner and staff were very friendly. The bed was super comfy and the air-conditioning was good. If you want to cook your own food there is everything you could need to prepare it. Really nice outdoor space with fans.

Ideal for a one night stay before taking the boat to Nicaragua. The room we got was quite basic but had aircon which was much appreciated as it is very warm there. Only a short 5 minute walk to the main square and restaurants, and also 5 mins from the port to take the boat.

Staff were super lovely, they let us use the kitchen and store bags the day before we checked in whilst we camped at top of mountain, room was nice - had aircon (only available during certain hours). Kitchen was basic but had all necessities. Location - close to ferry port and meeting spot for tours.

Marta who owned the hostal was really friendly and helpful. She suggested where we could eat and arranged a taxi for us in the morning. There was a communal area upstairs where you could make a drink and sit and chat.

Great location and really lovely staff!

Allow dogs. Room was spacious and very clean. Good and silent AC. They have a very well equipped kitchen. Staff is sooooo friendly and helpful. They let me store my luggage for free on the night I went to the volcano. Well located; safe neighbourhood. Great value for money. I would highly recommend this place, and would definitely stay there if I go back to La Union again.
