“Quirky but aging flat with excellent views and sunny terrace, cleaning could be better”
Retro-cute like staying with your Granny. Felt like it was/is an actual family’s holiday home, not mass-produced tourist accommodation. Lots of little touches - pictures, pottery, feather bolster. Very well equipped (tiny) kitchen (N.B. no dishwasher, for those whom this matters). Main bed was very comfortable. Stunning views - yes, cars are parked outside but if you raise your eyes above the cars you are richly rewarded! South facing so the terrace is a sun trap. If you finish skiing early you can enjoy the deckchairs even in the middle of winter. Would be too hot in the summer as the windows appear original (60s/70s) and no shutters as other reviewers have noted. Separate toilet and bathroom is very handy for a family and reminds me of my youth! Interhome contact (Camille) in Corbier was delightful and very responsive.
