“Comfortable and clean hotel in a great location.”

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff and a free breakfast provided (Booking.com advised there was no breakfast). The only negative was that 25 Euros seemed very expensive to park our vehicle on the street in front of the hotel. Whilst we knew the price in advance I assumed that the parking would be enclosed and “secure”, not simply on the street.

“Good option for short stay”

Just down the road from the train station so great for an overnight stop. Easy 20 minute walk down to the marina through pedestrianised shopping street. Very helpful with luggage storage. Breakfast good.

“Excellent stay in a great little city”

The Hotel Venezia is a short walk from the train station, and looks out on a lively square. I may have had the best room in the hotel because I had a small balcony that faced onto some great people-watching. In spite of the location, I was not bothered by noise. The room was spotlessly clean, and I had more towels than I needed. The breakfast was much more than I expected—juice, yogurt, a cornetto, a hard roll and a pastry, plus cream cheese and small tubs of liver pate, a nice surprise. Great coffee, of course. The people at the desk speak excellent English, and gave me some excellent advice.

A clean hotel that also includes a complimentary breakfast. It’s very close to La Spezia Centrale train station, which provides easy connections to Cinque Terre, and also near the pedestrian area where you can find restaurants and a supermarket. The staff are extremely kind and helpful with anything you ask. A 10+ rating for them!

It was overall very nice stay. The hotel is close to central station and it was very easy to go to and fro for visiting cinque terre villages via fast trains. Hotel was cleaned everyday, kettle and tea was available in room. Breakfast was also served to guests. Overall very nice place to live!

Breakfast was good water juice yogurt cake roll croissant tea coffee served by friendly staff reception staff helpful with map and ideas where to go very close to train station and shops and restaurants could leave our bags after departure until later in day

Receptionist went out of her way to help with booking changes during train strike. She offered support, local knowledge and even translated a message for us. Exceptional support.

“Hotel Venezia - La Spezia”

Great location , close to restaurants and shops, but not too noisy. Clean rooms, great value for money. Good breakfast too which wasn't expected.

“Nice, safe, clean and convenient”

The hotel was so close to the train station and to the main shopping street. The area around the hotel (outside) felt super safe and clean which is always important. The staff was extremely helpful with giving great advise on what to do for fun day trips. Lastly, the room definitely exceeded my expectations because it looked much nicer than the images I saw on booking.com. Really nice wood details mixed with a modern look. Great sized bathroom with really good shower pressure. Comfy bed with great pillows. I would stay here again for sure.

Photos don’t do it justice. Newly renovated rooms. A stone throw away from the train station but it wasn’t noisy. Air conditioning, helpful staff, able to store luggage.

The place of the hotel is right next to the central station and the rooms were old but comfortable.There was nice Italian breakfast and the staff was really kind and welcoming.

They were very sensitive and helpful - having gluten free options and all needs catered for - it was in a good area to be in and also for travel as it is near but not too near the station

“1 night at La Spezia”

The hotel (which was completed renovated, everything is very new and modern) is localed very close to the railway station. The breakfast is nice, the room was superb too. The hotel is about 20-25 min walking to the harbor, where the boats to cinque terre depart. If you prefer to go by train, so it is about 5 min. But I recomend to go by boat, it was a very nice experience. About 10-15 min walking from the hotel (directions to the harbor) you can find lot of restaturants. There are other restaurants nearby hotel (2-3 min). I have stayed only 1 night. There are lift and Air Conditioning at the room

The staff were all lovely people very willing to make your stay pleasant. The hotel and all the were spotlessly clean. Bedrooms very comfortable perhaps a touch small but very nice. Highly recommend for short stay.

The staff! So friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very clean and very comfortable hotel and room. Nicely decorated. Ideal location: so near the railway station but amazingly quiet. Also it felt very safe. Last but not least, nice breakfast included.
