“Nice hotel close to railway station”

The hotel was close to the railway station. The room was fine for my needs and had a TV, hair dryer, a big press for clothes etc. It was close to shops and restaurants.

The location is perfect as the main train station is in front of the hotel. Ideal for trips to the Cinque Terre and the other beautiful places nearby.

Exceptional location. Few steps away from La Spezia central station. Walking distance from various restaurants and shopping area. Was a great decision to stay while taking trains to Cinque Terre towns. The beda were comfy and room was comfortable enough for the full family.

Kindness of the staff and excellent location if moving by train. It is just in front of the station and also 10 mins walking to historical center, port, market and main highlights. They offer to storage our luggage for free. If you are using the train, use the station' elevator just in front of the hotel to avoid high stairs.

It was so convenient to stay in Hotel Mary after arriving at midnight on the train from Naples as reception is open 24 hours. The facilities are basic but clean. Some minor repairs need to be done, particularly with the power outlets, as they are not secure.

“A fab location for visiting Cinque Terre”

The location is perfect, just down the steps from the main train station and on the street opposite, couldn’t get any better than that. It is very convenient and affordable. Really friendly staff at reception who were on hand to let you know anything you’d need to know about the area or Cinque Terre. The cleaners were also very friendly and thorough. I didn’t use the bar or breakfast facilities but they were available which is handy if needed. Easy to access the train to reach Cinque Terre. Good location to also do day trips to Firenze like I did.

“Good option if you’re exploring the area”

Next to the train station, excellent location if you’re exploring the region via train. Staff are friendly and professional. Renewed, good size bathroom. Despite being on a busy street, the room was quiet , didn’t hear noises from outside.

Reception very professional and position of Hotel May is just a step away from La Spezia Centrale. Helps a lot in deposit luggage when I travel 5 Terre during the day. Very nice palace to stay.

“Passable for a Quick overnight stay.”

All the receptionists were extremely sweet and helpful. The location next to the station was convenient, especially for an early morning departure.

You could not get a better location in La Spieza, straight across from the station and bus stop to places like San terenzo 50 meters away. Also if you turn right out of the hotel it takes you the main street for bars and restaurants and straight to the ferry terminal.
