This hostel is in a great location, it's close to the bus station and the old town. The breakfast is really nice, above average for a hostel. The couple who runs the place are lovely.

The staff was really nice anf helpful. We got a great recommandation for a trip to chañaral aceituno to see whales on a boat trip, amazing staff.

“Great stay with great staff”
Very friendly staff especially Rodrigo - he is a really friendly guy, great breakfast and they also bought special things because of my allergies - with also get a lunch packet the day we had to leave really early im the morning, they offer bike rental

“Comfortable”
Great Hostal for a comfortable stay in La Serena. We stayed only the one night as we were passing through on our way to Vicuña. They let us store our bags at the hostel for a couple of days whilst we were there. Breakfast was basic but enough. I would stay here again.

“A reasonable place to satay, conveniently located. Fairly short walk to the nice beach.”
Don't expect good kitchen facilities. Badly equipped, not really meant for guest use. Plus, kitchen was in an adjacent part of the hostal, so you had to exit and buzz in at another door. Not convenient at all.

Great location, super close to the main bus terminal and the town centre is easily walkable. Rodrigo, the staff member who greeted us at reception was a really nice and warm welcome, such a friendly guy! The bed was really comfortable as well.

Close to the bus station which was a bonus. Also pretty close to town. Breakfast was supplied and had out on the balcony in the lovely morning sun. They allowed us to keep our bags there after checking out which was helpful as we had the day to sightsee before getting the night bus
