We had a wonderful stay! The place is incredibly quiet and perfect for relaxing — just what we needed. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous, with delicious options and great attention to detail. We truly felt spoiled every morning! The host was super friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit. You can really feel the care and thought put into everything here. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at at this magnificent luxury guest home for 7 nights the pictures do not do it justice our host and chef Claude treated us like royalty the grounds are spectacular the food (breakfast )was out of this world he cooked a beautiful dinner for us on request if you want a relaxing pure french experience this is the place for you..a car is a must and parking on site we will definitely be back

“Hosts were insulting us, because we didn't like the room”

I wouldn't be surprised if my rating will disappear, because the owners of this property threatened already to complain about it. This is how you get and keep your good overall score. Actually the owners seemed very friendly when we arrived but they can't cope with negative feedback. We only stayed one night instead of three because we didn't like several things about the room: - The room was freezing and we couldnt sleep because we were so cold the whole night (air conditioning did not work, even though all windows were closed and in the room) - Air conditioning hasn't been cleaned for some time (many spiderwebs and dirt could be seen) - Bathtub was dirty - No possibility to properly shower - Small room with very little daylight and small windows made us feel like in prison (not as shown on the picture) - Open toilet with no privacy When we told Claude after one night that we would like to check out earlier than planned he was very upset. This is understandable because it is his home. But when we left he promised us that we would get a refund, we should just contact his wife. We've tried to contact her immediately (very nicely!) but she didn't reply. Only when I've tried again, mentioning the shortcomings of the room she answered. And she was very unfriendly, even insulting us and telling us that she informed other guests about our behavior. Sorry, but that is really unprofessional. As business owner you have to be able to cope with negative feedback. It seems also that they had expected us to cancel the booking on booking.com but nobody ever informed us about that. We've exchanged then several emails but she was starting to insult us even more, which I found very upsetting. We've stayed in so many hotels during the last few years and something like that never happened before. Think twice before booking this property.

The place is so beautiful and calm. Everything was perfect!! Cloud the owner is a very nice and helpful The breakfast as everyone say is absolutely amazing!

The host is so friendly and kind. They cook amazing breakfasts for guests. Everything is homemade and fresh. I really miss her cooking!

Location was beautiful and peaceful with wonderful views across the valley. Florence and Claude were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome and at home. They were always available whenever we needed anything but left us alone to enjoy the stay in our own way. The breakfasts from Claude were absolutely amazing with everything freshly cooked and baked. Claude was a perfect host. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back in the future. Would recommend to everyone.

“Peaceful beautiful location after visiting busy Nice and Cannes.”

The hosts were incredible. Friendly, welcoming and fun. Claude helped us drive our big van down the big hill and assisted in parking. We traveled with family and this was a wonderful location to have children and an elderly person. The food was fantastic. We opted for the additional dinner the night we arrived which was a good choice. The drive is somewhat challenging when you are not used to driving in the mountains so it was relaxing to have dinner there in the beautiful surroundings with excellent food. Breakfasts were full of excellent pastry, fresh fruit, bountiful servings.

“Absolutely stunning with great hosts”

What’s not to like at this stay in paradise? From the warm welcome by Claude & Florence, to the amazing breakfast on the terrace, you feel instantly at home here. The house is absolutely stunning, with a fabulous pool and jasmine scented gardens. The views from the terrace and surrounding countryside are breathtaking. We would not hesitate to return (& stay longer) and highly recommend a stay here. There are so many personal touches, from the hand made crockery to Claude’s bread and cakes!

Breakfast was beautiful. The apple tart was the best! The owner was so accommodating. The bed and the linen both were great. The bathroom was huge. The gardens and view breathtaking

It’s a beautiful home, attended by its owner. It makes you feel like at home. The home made breakfast was delicious! There’s attention to details not only in how the room is set up but also in the service.

Claude and Florence have the passion and the talent to create an exceptional and wonderful experience for their guests. Thank you! I liked that it is quiet and the kids loved the garden. Everything is maintained with a lot of attention to detail. The breakfast is priceless.

“Difficult access, impossible exit - locked in like prisoners.”

We have given this property a very low rating for reasons set out below. We had considerable difficulty in finding the property. It is at a dead end off a very narrow winding road. The signage at the turn-off is after the turn, and when you have succeeded in turning round, there is a traffic sign prohibiting the turn. So once again you have to turn around on the narrow rock lined road which is nearly impossible. The Mas is pleasantly located. However the driveway is very steep and narrow with vegetation close on both sides, brushing against your car. Parking is difficult, and when full, it is almost impossible to turn your vehicle. No assistance was offered to carry baggage down a difficult garden staircase. The accommodation is generally acceptable, BUT in our unit the toilet was not physically separated from the bedroom. This is totally unacceptable of course. The final straw came when we sought to exit from the property on the first morning. The gate was locked. The two different codes in the English and French room brochures did not open the gate. The proprietor did not respond to our attempts to contact him and as far as we could see, had left the property, as what we thought was his car was not there. We were locked in like prisoners. This was very upsetting and totally unacceptable. We decided to leave as soon as we could get the gate open, as we had a tight flight connection the following morning. We advised the proprietor by email that we would pay any outstanding amounts by bank transfer.
