“Lovely staff, great price and good location”
Great price and good location, 20 minute walk to the town centre and 30 minute walk to the bus terminal. Staff are absolutely lovely, I was quite unwell one of the days and they went above and beyond for me. Truly some of the nicest hostel staff I've encountered.

“Basic hostel but ok for one night”
Very simple hostel but had good air con in the room and wasn't super busy as I don't think many people stop in La Rioja. It's fairly close to the main centre. Staff were helpful when I needed to book a taxi to the bus station.

“Disappointing and uncomfortable”
Very disappointed with our stay. We met three members of staff. Two were very nice but we only met them on the last morning of our stay. Upon checking in, the other staff member barely spoke to us, was only interested in taking our money, didn’t even show us where the bathroom was and then spent the entirety of our stay playing on his phone. Would have loved to organise a trip or excursion but he was not one bit interested in helping us. Apart from that, the hostel was loud, extremely grubby and run down. The kitchen was disgusting. The shower was the only positive to take from our stay. We are well travelled and spend lots of time in hostels. We hate to leave a bad review but this place was so uncomfortable in every way. Cheap yes, but honestly not worth it.

“Very basic but decent hostel with a good price quality ratio”
Price-quality ratio was very good. The hostel has old and limited facilities, lacking things such as hand soap, a decent stove and functioning wifi. However, it is clean, rather central, staff is friendly and around, there is a roof terrace and there are laundry facilities. It has a relaxt and nice atmosphere. The showers are great. The hostel is very cheap and for what it offers it is a great price.
