We had an exceptional stay at Chesa Staila. Evelyn is extremely hospitable and puts a lot of care into her work. We had booked one of the smallest rooms (which was no problem for us), and Evelyn upgraded us to a larger room. It was not necessary but a very nice gesture that made our stay even more comfortable! The rooms are very fresh and clean, with great details and amenities (hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, room scent spray, extra washed blankets, etc.). One morning we needed to leave the hotel before breakfast, and Evelyn organized a bagged breakfast for us that she left in the fridge - it was very thoughtful.

We spent Christmas at Chesa Staila and Evelyn was the most amazing host. We are so grateful for this beautiful and magical holiday. Thank you for the care, the love, the warm welcome, and all the thoughtful little details — everything made our stay truly special. After a long 24-hour journey, Evelyn even helped us with directions so we could arrive safely. The food was delicious, the homemade liqueurs and breakfast were wonderful, and the candles and atmosphere made everything feel cozy and unforgettable. The place was very clean, comfortable, and in a lovely location. We had such a meaningful and memorable experience, and we will definitely be back. Thank you again for everything — from both of us, with love.

“A luxury and positively quirky retreat suffering somewhat from over-control”
Everything you could wish for at Chesa Staila is there and it just works. A lot of thought and investment has gone into making the facitlities and rooms both functional and very attractive at the same time. There's a great mix of functionality, "Alpen-Chic" and quirkyness that let's you discover ever new details while enjoying the numerous retreats and features at the same time. The self-serviced bar is stocked with excellent products (we had a great white wine) and breakfast is delicious.

“Wonderful stay in the mountains”
We loved our stay at Chesa Staila and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to future travellers. The property is spotlessly clean, cozy, very comfortable and decorated in the beautiful Swiss alpine style. The owners are charming, welcoming and helpful, giving us excellent recommendations for dining and skiing. The location is lovely and only a short drive to the nearby village of Celerina where we commenced skiing each day. We look forward to returning one day, hopefully soon!
