“Wonderful posada and host”
The Posada is a work of love. The room and bathroom were simple, but the furnishings come from auctions, so we had an old tapestry and an old bureau in our room. There is a garden and the tables for breakfast (fruit, bread, cheese, ham) are there. Stay for dinner: at night the place is enchanting and the food, excellent. Juan is a delightful host. You're a nice walk away along the beach from La Pedrera proper.

“Perfect stay in La Pedrera! Great location.”
Posada IRSIS was a perfect location for our 4 night stay in La Pedrera. I only made the booking 10 days before we travelled but the booking was confirmed quickly and Juan messaged to advise to pay in cash. He then messaged via WhatsApp to give us directions to the property. We arrived a little late than planned after travelling from the UK but Juan was there to meet us and check us in. He gave us the option of a room upstairs or downstairs and we chose downstairs as the bed was bigger! The room was basic (bed and bathroom) but clean and comfortable for our stay. Breakfast was again simple but tasty each morning. There is parking available right outside the property. Juan was always around during our stay and was always very friendly and available to chat. I'm glad he could speak English for me! Wifi was available in the main reception area. The property is a short 5 minute drive from the main areas in La Pedrera with bars and restaurants and the beach is also within walking distance. There is a small store near the property with everything you might need.

Juan was an incredible host, super friendly and helpful. And spoke great English which is always a bonus for me! The apartment felt like it was a fancy tree house, completed emerged in trees with birds all around. It also had everything I needed, including a bath mat, dish detergent, sponge, tea towel, salt and pepper. I've discovered these are not to be taken for granted in Uruguay!

“Garden Eden”
The huts are set in the centre of a beautiful lush green garden with birds singing. Juan is a very friendly and attentive host who will make sure you are comfortable and happy. The breakfast is accompanied by fresh fruit and Juan even offered to swap for a gluten free option without bread as one of us is celiac. We extended our stay and would surely come back again.

“Lovely stay close to La Pedrera village”
Simple accomodation in a lovely property surrounded by nature walking distance from the beach and La Pedrera village. The owner Juan is the most lovely, responsive and careful person. As I wasn’t feeling like going to the village for dinner, he prepared me a delicious omelette.

“Exactly what you're looking for”
Everything was superb, from its convenient location and beautiful green environment to its comfortable facilities and great staff; beginning with its hospitable and polite host, Juan, followed by its marvellous chef with her delicious cuisine. Last but not least, it was really good value for money. I strongly recommend Posada IRSIS.

Juan, the owner was very nice. The place is lovely with its huge salvage beach. Great room. Really Nothing to complain about.
