Perfect place to relax , close to great restaurants ( walkable) we particularly like the excellent roof terrace with views of the water for early morning coffee and evening drinks.

We had a lovely room with large bathroom and shower. I really enjoyed the common areas for reading or watching the sun go down. Good breakfasts. Very friendly host and staff. We made good use of the bikes for riding into town.

High comfort, high quality. The breakfast changes everyday and it's cook on the day. The bed is very comfortable. All details are taken care off. This in an excellent place to enjoy your holidays. It's a cosy feeling with very high standards. We had a fantastic holiday and Casa Kootenay help a lot in that!

Beautiful, clean place, friendly, helpful staff that accommodated my GF vegan diet, comfortable bed, and a great shower! The traditional adobe architecture, ocean front dining room and decor are lovely. There is a rooftop patio with a gorgeous view of the ocean and comfortable seating. Our bedroom and bathroom were large and comfortable. There was a fridge in our room. We also appreciated the use of a shared outdoor kitchen and the ground floor. The host was super helpful in providing us with connections in the community. She pointed us towards a place where we could go dancing, and a place where we could rent a car and get a driver. These definitely improved our visit experience! Our host had snorkel gear that we could use, along with there being bicycles and paddle boards available for free use.

Casa Kootenay in La Paz is a gem! Our host, Leanne, was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, making our stay truly special. The breakfast was excellent, featuring delicious options that fueled our adventures. The beds were comfortable, ensuring restful nights. We loved the beautiful rooftop with stunning views and easy beach access. The availability of kayaks and bikes for free use added to the experience, allowing us to explore the area effortlessly. Highly recommend this place!

This place is so great: beds are so comfortable, the terrace and breakfast room overlooking the beach are so relaxing, but the best part is the owner who is just so thoughtful and caring all the while never intrusive. We loved it so much here!

Came back from a 4 day yacht trip to a lovely Casa that felt so nice and peaceful. Just loved it! Rooms are big and feels so relaxed. Jumped into the cold pool everyday after a long hot day.

LeeAnnn was a fantastic host. You can walk on the beach, have a nice view on the veranda or just relax in the swimming pool. The room was clean and had all that is needed. Including homely breakfast just makes you feel comfortable. Theres is absolutely no noise which i really appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Kootenay, it is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Lili and her staff have been very kind and helpful throughout. Every day we enjoyed the delicious breakfast, the pool, beautiful and clean rooms and as a highlight the rooftop overlooking the bay. We rented SUPs and kayaks, paddled to the mangroves and saw dolphins. Couldn’t have wished for more.

Casa Kootenay is a wonderful spot to relax, discover La Paz and the area and enjoy life! Lili has a special gift to make you feel at home, you'll wake up to homebaked cookies every day and a delicias breakfast, get free bikes, kayaks and a lot more than you would have ever thought of to discover the beautiful bay and feel welcome all along. The house is beautiful, a stunning terrace with a view above the bay, nice little pool for a dir and a lot of common spaces to share. The rooms are cozy and comfy (highly recommend the upstairs rooms), there is a lot of extras like nice shampo etc, free drinking water and coffee as much as you want at anytime, and a lot of little things that you are really super welcome in this house. We had a great time and will be back!
