“Too many lions, too little maintenance”
Very disappointing. The hotel looked good from the street, and the corridors were adorned with multiple pot plants and lion decorations. But our room had crushed and stained bed linen. We were moved to another room when we raised this issue, however the rooms are very tired and need maintainence, new beds and bedding. The wash basin only had cold water, the flow is a dribble, and the shower was unpredictable. The breakfast was very ordinary, and served 20 minutes later than our allotted time slot imposed by the hotel staff. I think there should be a basic level of comfort and cleanliness standards set by booking.com to avoid these poorly maintained hotels. The only plus for this hotel was the good location.
