“A great little hotel, clean, friendly, helpful.”
We had the most unusual stay at this hotel on 30 December. The streets all around become a huge market, meaning access is difficult, not impossible. Unfortunately we had a really short stay to catch an early flight. It would have been amazing to take some time to visit the market. The night manager was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The hotel, while old, was very clean. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean. The hotel was quiet. For the money fantastic accommodation.

“Great hotel if you have an early morning flight”
For an early 3:20 a.m. flight, we wanted to stay close to the airport. There are a number of dives in El Alto, but Esmeraldo is certainly not one of them. The bed was very comfortable, not saggy. Bathroom was large with plenty of hot water. Room size was pretty decent. The owner speaks English pretty good and arranged for a taxi for us at 1 a.m. (Bol 30 to airport). The hotel is located just inside a small mall, with a secure elevator to the floors. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor, in case you passed on walking the streets of El Alto at dusk.

“good choice for one night of flight transfer”
we just stayed one night for flight transfer and checked in very late. and the surrounds of hotel was not very safe I appreciated the receptionist who was helpful for calling taxi !

The hotel is not far away from the airport，great choice for over night' stay after early morning. They have 24 hours reception, that is great. The guy received us super friendly at 4:30am. The girl helps our book taxi via indrive and escort us to the place to meet the driver. The bed is comfortable and they have heater in door, which is a bonus. The breakfast is good with egg and fruit.

“Airport hotel of choice”
If you need a hotel close to the airport at a budget price, this is the one you should choose. The hotel is located within a "mall" and is very safe b/c of that. The reception desk woman got me a very good taxi for my early morning departure. Check out was easy and quick. The room is basic but good and clean and looks recently renovated. There's a mini fridge and great shower.

“Relaxing stay 5 mins taxi from El Alto Airport”
Perfect. Came here after a stressful experience with the bloqueos in Bolivia and had a really relaxing stay, the room was so spacious with loads of storage if needed. Lots of power points, large, clean bathroom, lots of towels, amazing comfy bed. Breakfast included was nice and fresh, eggs, toast, fruit and coffee. The receptionist was so lovely and booked a tax for mei in the morning.

“Great airport hotel”
Hotel Esmeralda is very close to the airport. We got there in about ten minutes. The staff were very responsive on messenger on booking.com. The lady who met was very helpful and friendly. She booked us a taxi for our early checkout time the next morning. The room was spotless. The bed was comfortable. We were offered a heater but we didn’t need it. There are lots of cosy blankets in the bed. The shower was nice. Took a minute to figure it out but perfect after that. Our taxi was ready and waiting for us on time the next day. This hotel was perfect for our one night stay close to the airport.

very near to airport. Our fight to Lima is early morning，hotel kindly to arrange take away breakfast boxes and Taxi services which convience to us. The restaurant at 2/F provided delicious meals and cheapest. The staff of restaurant were very kind and took care the customers. I am more than satisfy to stay at this hotel. The rooms is big and clean.
