Calacoto is good for the first two nights in high altitude, to avoid hight sicknes when arriving in La Paz. Some equipment to prepare breakfast or a very simpe meal. A bit difficult finding the place, but the very nice taxi driver helped me.

“Cool location, comfy and nice”
It's exactly what is meant to be, it's clean and the owner is friendly and nice. He's also fully available should you need anything or have any issue. The location is pretty well connected, close to the Humboldt square and 3 minutes from the Calacoto main avenue.

“bad”
There is a reason for being cheap. The location is close to the road, making it so noisy that I can't sleep at all. Even people outside can hear it clearly when walking
