The only good thing is the location close to the beach. However I would not recommend booking this accomodation!

Location, away from the tourist route and very laid back. Bit of peace and relaxation that we were looking for, a mini get away from it all paradise. Friendly owner and staff.

Marcella’s place is really nice and perfect to get away from all the touristic spots. The water of Golfo Dulce is only 4 meters from the property and you’ll find a lot of wild animals around like parrots, if you’ll lucky sloths and dolphins and more as well. The rooms are very clean with private bathroom and big windows + aircon and one of the most comfortable beds we had during our stay in Costa Rica! Also Marcella is a really nice host open for a little chat here and then.

“A beautiful place”

Terrazas del Golfo is located in a beautiful part of Playa Blanca. We could see the sea from the terrace, right outside of our room. Every day we saw an abundance of wildlife close up in the surrounding area. We bathed in the sea as often as possible, the water is calm and really warm, it was good fun to be in the sea, it is popular with locals too. We found that the locals are really friendly. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance, all with slightly different food options and also a little shop for basic requirements like water, snacks and even headache pills. Not far away is a little town (about 3 km) where everything else is available. We communicated with Terrazas del Golfo even before we arrived, it was great as we had our questions answered within a day and also got help getting there. During our stay in Terrazas del Golfo we had a lovely room, that was kept very clean, like the rest of the property. We had a choice of having freshly made traditional breakfast in the morning - we really liked it and we had the option of having our laundry done - which we did and it was ready within half a day. Everyone who works in Terrazas del Golfo was super nice and made us feel very welcome there, whatever we needed and whatever problems we had (for example: finding transport to the next location), we got help doing it, which we really appreciated and made our trip so much easier. We can definitely recommend this place and we are absolutely planning to go there again on our next trip to Costa Rica.
