“Delightful stay in a quirky rustic well equipped villa”

Location just a 10minute walk from La Orovata and its restaurants bars and tourist sites. Extremely well equipped especially the kitchen. Property was quirky and rustic which we loved. The owners were delightful and always on hand to suggest restaurants and places to visit. They were also were very responsive if we had any questions. We especially loved the fresh eggs from the chickens and the lemons from the lemon tree in the well tended gardens.

When we arrived we were greeted by Matias and Angelika who could not have been nicer and more helpful. Throughout our stay they gave us fresh eggs from their chickens. Matias also supplied a great deal of information about not just the local area but also places to visit and explore throughout Tenerife. The Finca itself was spectacular in a very beautiful rustic style and the private garden was stunning. The kitchen was by far the best and most well equipped that we have ever come across. The attention to detail was incredible. We had a private secure parking space on the property as well. Because the weather was a bit on the chilly side, we didn't use the pool, but it looked fantastic, large and very clean. The finca is located in a very nice area and it only takes 15 easy minutes to walk to the middle of town, which is very beautiful indeed, full of stunning traditional buildings. The only thing that the town lacked was a verity of good restaurants and bars, however Puerto de la Cruz, which is teaming with great food places, is only a very easy 15 minutes drive away, we also took the bus there a couple of times, which is also very easy and cheap, we walked it as well in just over an hour. If you are looking for an extremely relaxing retreat then this is certainly a place to consider.

Everything was amazing: new house of traditional design, nice garden with 180-year old dragon tree, perfect swimming pool (bad weather didn't alow us to fully enjoy it), ocean view from the terrace, and much much more. Everything was of the highest quality, even china set of Villeroy & Boch. We got sparkling wine, fruits, avocados from the big tree in the garden, eggs from their own hens, etc. Mathias was incredibly hospitable host. Every day he asked us how he could help more. He recommended the best restaurant and booked a table for us. (unbelievable mango gaspacho!) We would definitely stay again.

Amazing space with everything you could possibly want, so comfortable.Beautiful gardens and places to sit, listen to the birds,admire the flowers.Parking on site, very secure.Only 10 minutes walk to the town.Owners so welcoming, left Champagne, fruit and chocolate for us and provided great recommendations for trips, restaurants and bars.Simply a paradise.

The property was like a home from home and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and was in a stunning setting. The hosts, Angelika and Mathias, were supremely friendly and exceptionally helpful with suggestions and recommendations. They wanted to ensure that, as guests to their country and home, we had an amazing experience. We loved the outdoor space, the garden, the pool, the fresh eggs and fruit, chatting and sharing a delicious bottle of tinto wine with Mathias, being able to walk into La Oratova, the views, the little touches (candles and matches) and the wildlife - watching the lizards while enjoying breakfast. “Great finca”

The property was fantastic every thing you need and more. Matius and Angelika were so helpful.. The eggs from the hens were delicious. Particularly enjoyed the wine and chat one evening.

The location of the villa was perfect, being nearby to the shops & restaurants, but also at the same time nice and peaceful. The hosts were very friendly and always on hand, if needed (as they also live in the enclosure) to help or answer any questions. Honestly, they don't have done more to ensure our stay was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary items to cook your own meals. We did a lot of hiking and there were hiking poles available to use in the property, presumably left by previous visitors. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Mathias and Angelika are welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the accomodation, there was water, fruit and eggs in the accomodation on arrival. Mathias provided useful information via whatsapp regarding local places to see which was updated throughout the week. Peaceful location with mountain views. Historic La Oratava just a short walk away with plenty of traditional bars and restaurants. Some beautiful beaches close by. Exclusive use of a lovely salt water/chlorine swimming pool.

I highly recommend this apartment. Super hospitable and outgoing hosts. We had a late check in and the host waited for us. When we arrived we found fruits and a bottle of cava. They treated us every day with fresh home grown eggs and home grown avocado. The apartment has all necessary amenities. It is very lovely, cozy and perfectly clean. There is a nice pool were we spent a lot of time every day.
