Hotel Montemar is 3 minutes’ drive from the pine forest and dunes at La Marina Beach on the Costa Blanca, 25 km from Alicante Airport. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. “Fab for the money”
Arrived to be met at receptionist and check in was quick and cheerful. Room was basic but we knew that. Free toiletries. Bed very comfy and balcony. The restaurant was absolutely outstanding. The service and food were fantastic. We would go back even if it is just for dinner.

Stopped at this hotel many times before it had new owners but never stayed, must say it was a pleasant stay, I believe I checked in with Raquel who was so happy and helpful, will definitely stay again.

“A quiet, clean room in a basic hotel in a very convenient location.”
The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The room had plenty of storage space and the water pressure was good.

“No other hotel available in this tiny place at the time I'm writing this. Another one about to open.”
No reception, no staff, no facilities...just the bedroom, the key-box and the telephone number in case you have a problem and your room is being cleaned some time in the morning. Very basic but clean and functioning.

Spend 3 nights here: the first 2 nights I didn't get the One Star, it should be at least 3: the room has everything: ac, balcony, very good shower, very clean, okay bed.
