“Fabulous accommodation with fabulous hosts”

We arrived to a very warm welcome from Therese and Gisle - they were fantastic hosts. We arrived with an injury and they advised us where to go and kept in contact with us during the time we were at the hospital. We needed ice when we got back and they were very accommodating. They produced a gorgeous meat and cheese platter for us as well. Nothing was too much trouble for them from gorgeous breakfast to help with things to do when the weather wasnt the best. We really enjoyed our stay thank you both.

“Exceptional, personal, unique”

A truly unique location on the La Manga strip where you can admire both sunrise and sunset over the sea right from your hotel. Therèse and Gisle (originally from Norway) are exceptionally welcoming and make you feel immediately at home. Rooms are spotless and thoughtfully equipped, with many small complimentary touches and the house is equipped with very useful extras such as beach chairs and umbrellas for you to use. The beach is just 20 meters from your room, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Cartagena is also a lovely place to visit in the evening by car.

This villa based apartment stay was truly excellent. The villa is in a perfect location for two great beaches, and has it's own very nice pool. The couple that run this apartment are beyond perfect hosts, very attentive, and made our stay very enjoyable, I can not think of any way they could be better.

The hosts were exceedingly attentive and just wanted to made our stay very pleasurable. Breakfasts were adapted to your own tastes and wants, beautifully presented. We had dinner there one evening, once again was our choice and cooked for us. The beaches of the Mediterranean and Mar Menor very close. As we are elderly, they took beach chairs & sun umbrella to beach and set up. One of the most relaxing hotels we have stayed in for a long time. Hopefully we will stay again next year.

The location, the facilities. Previous reviews all say the same it's an excellent place to stay. However the biggest factor is the hospitality of the hosts Therese & Gisle who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Thanks for your hospitality and have a great future.

Beautiful hotel, picturesque location, great hosts

Our stay at Colina del Emperador was nothing short of perfect! The hosts Therese and Gisle. were absolutely lovely and so incredibly helpful, making us feel like valued guest from the moment we stepped through the door. The location couldn't have been better, offering easy access to both the Mar Menor and the beaches of the Mediterranen Sea. We enjoyed also the restaurants and bars of the nearby marina. Our room was a comfortable and impeccably clean sanctuary, and the breakfast? Simply outstanding! A truly memorable experience.

“New, modern and luxury hotel with quality facilities located water-front”

This hotel is level-up above many-many-many hotels in Spain. It's made with high quality, interiors in common areas are very nice decorated and stylish, equipped with nice and quality furniture, super clean. The hotel is located waterfront, you can hear tides from room windows. Breakfast worth a special words - it's an art - fresh and tasty set of different meal, beautifully served, we enjoyed it both physically and mentally) Location is an extra benefit - it is located on the sea-side, waterfront, near the beach, and at the same time it's a just 10-15 minutes walk along the pedestrian embankment to marina with yachts and restaurants on the opposite side of the sea spit.

La Manga is a ‘strip/ peninsula’ of approximately 18 kms and Colina del Emperador is between 12& 13 kms from the main mainland point…It is perfectly situated between the Mediterranean and the Mar El Menor ( lagoon) with LESS than 100m separating the two bodies of water…The views are spectacular & panoramic… The property itself has been beautifully refurbished and is to the highest standards…as is the hospitality,both Therése & Gisle were exceptional hosts (& guides!) Booked restaurant for us on a busy Sunday service AND drove us out to a view- point we’d’ve not discovered otherwise… Would hope to return as soon as is possible…

Everything was absolutely superb.Our hosts were so friendly and took care of us.The house facilities were designed with excellent taste.We had nice discussions together with the host couple and got valuable suggestions where to have dinner, sightseeing etc.Don't skip this experience if you're in La Manga
