Wow, this was a really great accommodation! Although we only spent one night here, we felt like home. Literally. The accommodation was absolutely clean and fragrant. It was clear that the owners care about every detail. All of this contributed to the overall comfort and peaceful atmosphere. We definitely recommend this accommodation in Sardinia to everyone who is looking for a clean and cozy place where they can feel comfortable and relaxed after a day full of adventures. “Very comfortable”

The cheeriest and most helpful hotel staff we’ve ever met. They gave very good restaurant recommendations and helpful when it came to navigating parking outside the hotel. Situated right in the heart of La Maddalena, restaurants, shops and cafes are all within walking distance.

“Lovely hotel on the waterfront”

Perfect location right on the waterfront with restaurants, shops and bars just a stone's throw away. There is free parking in the street right outside the hotel which was a bonus. Very friendly staff and great breakfast - we would definitely stay here again.

Everything, nothing to remark. The reception lady was extremely forthcoming and everything went smoothly. Breakfast was actually breakfast and not only pastries as usually in Italy.

“Very nice option to be near the main attractions”

The location was perfect, in front of the port with many restaurants near by. The staff was very friendly and gave us a excellent recomendation for a boat tour. The breakfast was good with a lot of options and with a view from the terrace to the port. The room was very comfortable and I loved the shower, big and with a nice shower head.

Great location, we had a view of the port and the Main Street was a 2 minute walk. Mariluisa at reception was so helpful and very welcoming. Room was very clean and had everything you needed. Shower was tiny though!

1- Definitely: THE STAFF! All three receptionists were amazing! We've never been so warmly welcomed / supported as we were at the Hotel Excelsior! 2 - The view from the breakfast terrace is very nice. 3 - Cleanness of the bedroom was very good! 4 - Location is just perfect!

“Central and lovely accommodation in La Maddalena”

The hotel is a few minutes away from the ferry, in the center of La Maddalena village. The location is perfect to explore the archipelago by boat, car, motorcycle or bike. Our standard double room was spacious, clean and with impeccable room service. All the staff (reception, breakfast and room service) were extremely friendly and made us feel spoiled and welcomed during our 8 days stay. Everyone was ready to help us and gave us important information to improve our experience. The breakfast consisted of a large variety of lovely options (both Continental and Italian style) that one could enjoy while looking at the harbor.
