“Great stay”

We loved our stay here great position Loved the 2 pools but think at weekends will be busy and they will need more pool beds Breakfast was ok you have a choice of a few different dishes Staff were friendly and helpful We had room with sea view and hammock on our balcony which was nice and relaxing

The complimentary breakfasts we had were OUTSTANDING! All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Although El Tunco is thought to be a very touristy area, the hotel was quiet and felt very private/removed from the higher traffic areas.

The staff was very welcoming, but that's usually the norm in the country, it's just part of the culture. It has nothing to do with the hotel quality. You get welcoming staff in cheap or expensive hotels in El Salvador.

Excellent stay during 6/25-27 in the jazmin villa. Exceptional views of intercoastal and beach. Just far enough from hustle and bustle to not hear music late at night. Staff went far above expectations. Everybody friendly there. Would definitely stay again in same suite. Very clean place. Overall A+.

My wife and I fell in love with Bocas Olas Resort, we're hoping to plan another trip there ASAP! Special thanks to Solomon, Leo, Omar, Christian (and all of the other staff members, can't remember their names!). We were treated so kindly by everyone....waiters and waitresses, bartenders, housekeepers, groundskeepers, gate guards. Location was perfect, 2 to 3 minute walk into the heart of El Tunco where there are endless food options, bars, nightlife, yoga, massage, shopping, etc. Numerous surf options within walking distance and plenty of places to rent boards in El Tunco. I could go on and on, just go down there and see for yourself! Muchas Gracias Boca Olas, we'll be back soon!

“Large hotel with 2 pools, quiet location & huge rooms for a family!”

We flew in late & arrived at 3am and they kindly opened the gates for us and were ready to show us to our Suite. It was a very comfortable place to begin our week long stay in El Salvador. We had the Jasmine Suite for our family of 4 (kids 17/18). It was right on the river with a large living room, full kitchen and huge outdoor deck with furniture and a hammock. The bedroom had 2 Q beds & living room sofa was easily converted to a bed as well. The 2 pools were sizable and clean with a lot of options to sit around. They have a large food/drink menu and staff that takes your order poolside. Breakfast was included and sufficient. The location is the furthest from the main noisy party scene but just a short 10 min walk away, which we appreciated. This is not an “intimate hotel” and the largest in the town. It would be good for those traveling with a large group or extended family. The staff is friendly and we felt very safe…..as we did in ALL of El Salvador from the airport to beach towns to the mountains! The people are so trusting and friendly it almost feels odd! We had separate 3 incidences (Car rental, hotel & private tour) where there was confusion on the payment process and each time were told not to worry about it and that we could sort it out before we leave! This would NEVER happen in the US!

I liked that Boca Olas attended us as soon as we got there. They held our luggage until the room was ready. I loved the service at the bar and at the restaurant on the resort. The staff were friendly.

The resort was absolutely beautifully and conveniently close to the beach and a variety of restaurants. The customer service was exceptional.

The food was good but the menu is limited; breakfast was included with my room which was a nice plus. The drinks weren't very good though so we didn't enjoy too many cocktails.

Beautiful hotel and great service, breakfast was delicious! The pools are great as well.
