Overview
Located in the Laguna de Apoyo Natural Preserve. Among the various facilities of this property are an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. “Great stay at Pacaya Lodge”
Stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon in Nicaragua. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with beautiful views (and a hammock) overlooking Laguna Apoyo. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and really friendly and the food from the restaurant was fantastic (we had breakfast and dinner there twice). The pool area was a really nice spot to enjoy a sunset cocktail. We had a great stay and would highly recommend! p.s. I’d also really recommend spending the day at Casa Marimbe, which Hotel Pacaya helped organise a 15min taxi to.

The fact that there were only 4 sunbeds for the whole of the hotel and there were none spare so nowhere to sit around the pool although as a result they arranged and paid for us to go down to the lagoon
