Villa Hortensia is located high above the town and has a fantastic view of the harbor and the sea. After a days cycling or walking tour along the coast of La Digue, you can relax on Villa Hortensia's terrace or balcony and enjoy complete tranquility and a unique view of the sea and Villa Hortensia's very beautiful garden. Villa Hortensia is located a short distance from the harbor and is perfectly located for exploring both the east and west coasts of La Digue. It is about a 10-minute walk to La Passe where there are several good restaurants, but you can also choose to cook your own food and use Villa Hortensia's well-equipped kitchen. One thing worth mentioning is the very useful information you receive from Villa Hortensia after booking. You get very detailed instructions on how to apply for travel authorization to the Seychelles which is necessary to visit the islands. Also a description of how to get to La Digue with the ferry schedule and everything. You can book a pick-up from the ferry and get help with renting bicycles. You can be sure that everything has been done to make your stay absolutely memorable.

We stayed four nights at the property. We had a great time, the rooms were spotless and cleaned every day, and Germain even brought us some fresh mangoes for breakfast (not included in our rate). The building is new and very well maintained. Highly recommended!

The house is very nice. You can use the sofas on the terraces - we spend hours each day there: so relaxing. The kitchen is super clean and well equipped. We rented bikes: super easy, fair price.

Everything was great! Thank you very much to the owners of the villa and staff for the beauty, cleanliness, understanding and non-intrusion. And a steep rise to the villa, about which they wrote in all the reviews, was only good. We're slim and prettier))

“Nice green villa on the hill”

Good spacious room which was cleaned daily. There is a nice garden with lots of flowers around the building. We were on the second floor and had a nice sea view from the terrace. We had a little fridge and a kettle in the room, there is also a well equipped kitchen downstairs.

The apartment had a very beautiful view, it was very spacious, and the balcony was lovely. Our room was cleaned daily and preparing breakfast for ourselves was very easy. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend this place.

I absolutely loved everything about this property! From the moment we arrived, i was impressed. The location was fantastic, with breathtaking views and easy access to nearby beaches and restaurants. The property itself was in impeccable condition - clean, well- maintained and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring :)

“Too expensive for what you get”

If you are lucky enough to get a room on the first floor with the common balcony, then you have a nice view, mostly at sunset, and an outside seating area.

“Breezy terrace with sea view in a rural setting”

The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Great shower with hot water and goed water pressure. The bed was comfortable, and there was a big, breezy terrace (shared by two rooms) with sea view. There"s a communal area and kitchen, with a fridge that you can use. Breakfast is served on the terrace, with juice, fruit, toast with butter and jam, and coffee/tea. The accommodation is in a rural area, away from the tourists in the port, around 15 minutes walking.

The view from our room was amazing, the room was big but very little space to stack your staff and baggage, also no side lamps.

Amazing food, if you are staying here, make sure you book dinners too- you will not regret it! Nice family atmosphere, big room and bathroom!

It's a beautiful, colorful villa overlooking the see and the hill, surrounded by trees and some cute cow and chicken pets too. We got the ground floor quadruple room for 2 so it was very spacious, it had a coffe table with chairs, the room was squeeky clean and wifi worked ok. We enjoyed having coffee on the main patio overlooking the garden and overall bring a bit more secluded from the main street. Marlette and her husband are friendly and welcoming
