I booked Rising Sun Guesthouse on half board basis and never regretted my choice. Food was very good, especially dinner, which offered a chance to try some excellent Creole dishes. Room was clean and comfortable, A/C worked very well, WiFi worked well in my room, but it was close to the reception, and it was free. Another good thing was location – it was close to the ferry, reachable on foot even with luggage. On the other hand, it was close to Union Estate and very close to Veuve Reserve – both areas I was interested in.

The location was quite good, because Anse Source d'Argent was really close by, but also, it was somewhat equally distant from the other points of interest - Anse Cocos, Anse Caiman, etc. Also, not far from the ferry. Nice ground-level room, with a veranda and some green area in front where you can sit and relax. We liked the food quite a lot, it was simple and just enough, specially prepared with local recipes, the dinner was a buffet and there was also a dessert, so we didn't leave hungry. The drinks we thought were well priced. Helpful host and her daughter was a cute little girl :)
