The houses are nice, very clean, there is everything in the kitchen. The girl at the reception was very responsive and helpful. Thank you personally.

We had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was excellent, fresh and very tasty. The bicycles we rented here on accomodation were great and made exploring the area so easy. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, without a single problem. Most importantly, the hosts are truly wonderful people — kind, helpful and welcoming. We felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended! We would definitely choose this place again.

Unfortunately, after having an amazing experience with our apartments in both Mahé and Praslin (same category), our stay at Orchid Apartments was a real disappointment. One star goes to the gentleman who welcomed us – he was very kind and offered us cold drinks and towels. However, for some reason, he wasn’t able to complete our check-in, and we had to return to reception three times to finalise it. On top of that, no one came to clean our room during the first two days. Eventually, one friendly lady completed our check-in, but most of the other staff we encountered were almost rude and made us feel very unwelcome. The second star is for the washing machine, which was a real advantage after spending a week in Mahé and another in Praslin. Sadly, that’s where the positives end. The room was extremely dark, outdated, and had connecting doors to the neighbouring villa – we could hear everything from the next room. Shockingly, there was even a hole in the connecting door through which you could see into the other villa! The air conditioning, only available in the bedroom, had a hole in the wall that I had to block with toilet paper. Even then, the AC was so weak that it failed to cool the room to a comfortable, liveable temperature. To make matters worse, there wasn’t even a fan in the kitchen or living area, making it unbearably hot throughout the day. Despite our request to leave the AC running, the cleaning lady kept switching it off when we were out. The final straw was coming back one evening and finding a huge cockroach in the bedroom, which was very difficult to kill. Even more disturbing was receiving a message from the accommodation team wishing us a safe journey home — while we were still staying at the apartment. When I clarified that we hadn’t yet left, no one ever responded to apologise or acknowledge the mistake. I would definitely not return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable holiday.

Location is perfect - in the middle of the little village of La Digue, very close to everything. Room is clean and tidy. Staff are kind and frinedly

I loved the staff! Very kind. Allowed to leave the room 2 hours later! Cleaning was every day! Very good kitchen equipment.

The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Maybe it was not as new and modern I had on Mahe or Praslin, but it really was a great deal.

“Nice experience”

I liked the room a lot, it was very spacious and equipped with every thing you need! Also very clean and the staff cleaned the room everyday. The breakfast was not offered by the hotel, but by the restaurant in front of them. You can order in restaurant and it contained salad of local fruits, jam, butter, pancakes or muffins, 2 eggs (you could choose how they were cooked for you - omelette, boiled, fried), juice/water/milk/coffee/tea, but no meat :( OR you can order to take away and you will have beans, bacon, 2 eggs and 2 sausages. We rented the bikes from them and they were very nice with us, we asked to change one bike because the saddle was not comfortable. Also the yard was very nice, wide and well taken care of!

Washing machine! :) One morning we left one pot to soak, when we came back the cleaning lady already washed it even if she didn't need to, thank you. No mosquito bites! Yaaay :) Everyone is really kind and nice.
