The staff were very attentive. Big thank you to Alen,Hamisha and Nathalie. They were very helpful. The staff at the back whom i didn't meet but gave us a great bfast and dinner on the 1st night. The cake was very much appreciated for my son's birthday. Really appreciated the extra mile you guys went to. Will definitely go back.

“La Digue Seychelles Mountain View Hotel.”

Our stay at Hotel Mountain View on La Digue was truly wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. A special thank you to Nataly and Alen — they were incredibly attentive and it was such a pleasure getting to know them. The view from our balcony was absolutely magical. It alone was worth the final 100 meters uphill climb to reach the hotel. Waking up to such scenery was unforgettable. The room was spacious and very clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The restaurant also deserves a mention — it has a beautifully romantic atmosphere, perfect for a quiet evening. Overall, a memorable experience that we would gladly recommend.

This is our fifth visit to the Seychelles and was our first stay at Mountain View Hotel. We found the rooms to be very good, the pool was lovely to cool off in at the end of the day and the view was lovely, we even saw paradise flycatchers from there. All the staff at the hotel are fantastic and want to make sure you enjoy your holiday. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill but this gives you the wonderful view and it is not too far to cycle anywhere on the island. For the price paid we found the hotel to be excellent value for money. We cannot understand the negative reviews. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We had a good stay at the Mountain View Hotel. The staff was really friendly and did their best. The breakfast was tasty. Everything was clean. We always had enough water to shower. The hotel is on a hill with a nice view. We went by foot from the jetty. It took 30-40 minutes. It was sweaty, but we really liked it. If you do not like it, they organize you a taxi. We rent bikes for the days at the nearby MOMO‘s bike rental and liked to drive over the island.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. They helped us arrange the transfers.

1. Money disappeared from our room 2. Dinner is not good - dry burnt meat - dinner was served 3. Poor breakfast offer 4. Coacroachs and spiders in room 5. Stale towels in room 6. No spoons in room - they are charging extra price for cleaning room service. 7. When we came water in room was free - when we leaving was charging Everything would be fine. bad food and insects in the room, but the fact that our money disappeared is too much.

Our stay at Mountain View Hotel was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable, close to the jetty, shops, bike rentals and the most beautiful beaches, yet still quiet and peaceful with stunning views of the mountains. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day before exploring the island. The staff were outstanding, so warm, welcoming and always ready to help us with recommendations, bookings and local tips. Their kindness made our experience unforgettable and we felt truly taken care of. This hotel really exceeded our expectations, it felt like home on paradise island. Highly recommended to anyone visiting La Digue! 🌺✨

Great hotel with attentive and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Small pool for relaxing. Half board was very good as the quality was very good and big portions. Transfer from ferry and bike rental worked well.

“Mountain view hotell”

It's a small island. The hotel is located at the far point to the south on Mid Hill, far from everything, yet the photos we saw in booking made us choose it. We arrived at the island evening time so we pre booked a taxi with the hotel (by hamisha, which cost 250r - expensive 17euro for 5 min drive), but we wanted easy way from the ferry. Upon arrival, the taxi driver put in the car, 8 more passengers... when i asked to understand why, he said, "If you don't like it, you can go." So we did and found beter and chipper taxi for 150r (10e). We arrived at the hotel. the reception is connected to the dining room, and the mini pool is all together on 40m² Much more, the place is a construction site (aperntly for long time before... and no one mentioned that important fact on reservation) The room was quite big and clean. Wifi was working very weak. We talked to the reception before arivel to rent a bicycle (the way to move in the island) so the reception lady hamisha tried to force 150r per day, I told her not to book before I'll check (always negotiate) So I found online that if you take more than one day you pay less... so the hotel "found" another place cost 100r per day... The next morning at breakfast, there was a buffet, not riche, but enght, the next day we stayed alone at the hotel, so no buffet, and the breakfast was poooooor, dry bread and not cooked omelet, no coffee and the orange juice was hot from the day before still on the table. Hamisha was again at the reception when we told her that this is not what we paid for (850 euro for 5 nights, not for guest house) She started screaming, "You always complain, the taxi is not good for you, the bicycle is not good for you now you complain about the food, this is island and if you don't understand island don't come here". After some words, I got the understanding that she didn't get the commission she expected to get from the taxi and bicycle, so she is angry.

Amazing chef maybe he should run the place! Sincerely friendly and helpful and on top of it great cook!
