“Great quiet location, amazing hospitality”

We had a great time at Maisie Ed-Elle. The place was spotless clean, had a fully fictional kitchen, and a massive and comfortable bathroom. The owner Elluna is one of the best hosts we ever had. She was friendly, responsive and so so helpful! She arranged home-made dinner for us and it was highly recommended. The location was great for us too. Very easy to cycle to anywhere but remain peaceful and quiet.

Our third time in La Digue and staying at Ed-Elle helped to make it the best. We particularly liked the modern well equipped kitchen and bathroom the ice cool air conditioning and of course the warm friendly welcome from Elluna. We felt at home straight away and did not want to leave. The location is just right not too close or far away from the port. Made up of 4 apartments two up and two down it is relaxed but very modern and comfortable. Owned by switched on, local young entrepreneurs, who really care. A smashing stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at Maison Ed Elle. Elluna and her family were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and answer any questions we had. From the first moment, we felt completely at home. The location is perfect, safe, quiet, and beautiful! The apartment we got was in super condition, very clean and comfortable. The territory is also very nice and well maintained, we enjoyed having our breakfast in the terrace and being surrounded by nature. We really appreciated the warm welcome, as well as the transfer that was arranged for us. The bikes provided were also in great condition, and they made it so easy to explore the island without any hassle. We honestly felt sad to leave, because it was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience. We’d definitely recommend staying here over any resort if you’re looking for a genuine and homely atmosphere. And as a lovely little bonus, we got to say hello a couple of times to Elluna’s sweet dog, Nala, which made us smile. Hopefully we’ll be back one day!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We really appreciated that they allowed us a late check-out because our ferry was in the afternoon – that was very considerate. The facilities were excellent, and bicycles were provided, which is perfect for exploring La Digue. I was also pleasantly surprised on my birthday with a small cake and a card from the management – such a lovely personal touch! Everything was well organized, and we received lots of useful information. Overall, a clear recommendation – the perfect place to enjoy your time on La Digue!

“Nice place to stay”

A lovely apartment, in a quiet part of the island, although only a two minute bike ride in to the small village. That said, the (free) bikes we were provided with for our stay were old and in poor condition. Can’t really complain as they were free but the gears kept slipping and most of them didn’t work! We did have a lovely time exploring the amazing island on them though. The hosts were all very pleasant. The accommodation was clean but relatively small with a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. We didn’t really sit outside much, as it has some nice garden areas and we’d already got enough bites for one holiday! Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Exceeded all expectations! I stay in hotels 1–2 times a week for work, and this was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever seen. Bisyscles and arrival transfer were included. Great attention to detail, excellent communication with the staff. They surprised me for my birthday and even helped organize flowers. Let us stay longer until our boat. Highly recommend!

Staying at Maison Ed-Elle was the perfect start of our week long vacations in beautiful Seychelles. We felt at ease right after stepping into this beautiful property with a warm welcome by our host, Elluna. The pick up from La Digue ferry terminal was arranged by the property and it was already waiting for us before our ferry arrived. Right from the time we booked this property till our arrival and during stay the communication with this property was very positive with prompt responses to all the messages/queries. Very good quality bicycles were also provided by the property. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and it was super clean with ac and fan working efficiently. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was very clean with good quality towels and toiletries. The property is very conveniently located close to the city center with stores, restaurants, take aways and ATM etc. very close by. Overall it was an amazing stay. Fabulous!

“Lovely & spacious place in great location”

Great Location! We arrived with the last ferry from Mahe, the transfer to the location was organised, we were very nicely welcomed. A lot of space, good WiFi-connection (we only used it for calls- no movie watching etc.). Dinner from Denise (EUR 25/person) was delicious- breakfast (EUR 20/person) was fine as well. We got two bikes for our stay, which were great to explore the island. Thanks for the great stay!!

Excellent staying at the Maison Ed-elle, the location,hospitality,kindness of the owner Elluna isn’t that common. The location was also very clean , calm e peaceful in the nature , close to everything you need in this paradise island. Big remark also to the legendary aunt, who’s helping with the breakfast-dinner preparations and to clean the rooms every 2 days, she’s such a good person inside and inside. We’ll definitely be back!

“The best stay during the whole trip to Seychelles”

We are currently on Mahe Island and we are still talking about our amazing stay in La Digue (because the bar was raised so extremely high by Maison Ed Elle)! Elluna is incredibly friendly and lovely host. We had two second floor apartments which were very clean and as I am very “smell-sensitive” I want to point out that the apartments smelled like fresh lemongrass or something wonderfully fresh and exotic, unlike many other self catering apartments or even luxury resorts I’ve stayed in before. Rental bikes were organised to us as we arrived and when we got a flat tyre far away from home, a new bike was a call and 15 minutes away! I can’t recommend this place enough! We are extremely satisfied and looking forward to coming back to La Digue to stay at Maison Ed-Elle again. Thank you once more!

“Outstanding Stay – Highly Recommended!”

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the interior was tasteful and beautifully furnished. The apartment was fully equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed sitting cozily on the large balcony in the evenings. The location is perfect – just a short walk to the village center and only a few minutes by bike to the stunning beaches. Several small shops are just around the corner, making it very convenient. The owners were incredibly warm, friendly, and always helpful, answering all our questions and assisting with future bookings. Communication was fast and easy. A huge plus: bikes were included in the price, making it super easy to explore the area. Beach towels are also included. The optional dinner (or breakfast) was absolutely delicious – a must-try at least once!  We had such a fantastic experience  that we will definitely be back! We love the layed back lifestyle in La Digue and Ellunas place got us right in the mood. Highly recommended!
