“Best place in La Digue”

Our stay was amazing in Cocotier du Rocher. The bungalow was clean and cozy, it had everything you need and the garden is so beautiful. Even if is self-catering, they come once per day to clean and we really appreciated that. The best part is the helpful and welcoming host Stephan who was really kind and at disposal any time. I would recommend to stay here if you visit La digue for more than 1 day

Beatiful lodge nestled inside of island just few minutes from beach. Clean space. They can rent bikes.

About twenty minutes of walk from the village. Grocery store 30 meters from the gate. Nice take-away with good local food three minutes away. Stephan (reception) is one hell of a La Digue beast - smiling, helpful, and knowing literally everybody on the island. Lot of trees and plants secures privacy. Lovely cats. In general, this place has my recommendation, if anybody would ask.

All was perfect for the price we paid, there were a few faults (drain was slow in the shower and one bulb was not working) which have been addressed promptly. The manager and staff working there is very helpful and friendly. I can definitely recommend it for vacation on La Digue.

Beautiful place, well maintained, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Small shops for groceries in walking distance (max 5 mins), walking to restaurants around 10 - 15 min; We would stay there again in case we will come back to La Digue

We visited Cocotier du Rocher for the second time. The bungalows are embedded in a wonderful garden with lots of birds and privacy. Our bungalow had an additional outdoor shower installed at a huge granite boulder - very nice. We like the location in the middle of the island, where you can reach everything easily by foot or bike. Staff is very friendly and helpful - helped us finding a guide for a tour to Anse Marron (Guide "Rondy" - 10 points out of 10, Anse Marron "WOW") on short notice. We were extremely lucky - private tour (coincidence). The bungalows have a traditional style. We usually prefer it more modern, but that's a matter of taste, and the whole atmosphere of Cocotier du Rocher, the location and the friendly people make this a place we would also visit a third time again. General remark: We have been here over New Year's Day, and most important: Don't forget the mosquito repellent. The insects went crazy this time of the year, and even with 50% DEET, they found us very attractive. 😏 We saw many other tourists fully covered with mosquito bites. If you want to use your lovely private terrace at Cocotier du Rocher, mosquito repellent is an absolute must.

Wonderful bungalow in the middle of a tropical garden: a perfect location to rest and enjoy La Digue island. The staff was very kind and helpful.

We liked very much the house, big with everything you need. 7 mina until the center where the port is and around 15 mins until Grand Anse, with bikes ofc. We rented bikes with the help of the host who is very helpful

We had a great apartment. The owner was so kind and friendly! There is a super market only a few meters away. Cleaners and gardners do everything they can and work hard. I can fully recommend this place!

The property is beautiful. The garden is amazing with a variety of flowers and fruits. The manager helped book a snorkelling tour for us and also arranged bikes for us. It was excellent. We will want to go back for a longer time.

Stephan the host is very nice and gives good tips on what to do when in la digue. The cocotier is located in a nicely cared for garden and you can order breakfast with fruits right from there.

Stephan was very welcoming and truly available during our stay, he gave us plenty of recommendations on the island. We especially loved the garden, the birds, privacy and comfy beds.

“Amazing stay in La Digue!”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa which is well located and really well equipped on the beautiful island of La Digue. Communication with the manager was really smooth and he went out of his way to arrange ferry port transfers and cycles for our stay (as that’s the best way to commute on this small island). He also accommodated to keep our luggage as our ferry was at a later time, and provided shower to wash and change even after we had vacated the room! He helped us with navigation tips when we reached which really helped us cover a lot of things in our short stay. Would totally recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit the island. We also had an unfortunate incident when our bike broke down. But we communicated with the host and our bike was replaced smoothly. Thank you so much for that!! The breakfast was also extremely delicious and freshly made. Extremely helpful host and special mention to the manager who really made our trip easy and comfortable.

“Wonderful place and great hospitality”

We loved everything about our stay—from Isabel’s helpful messages before we arrived, full of great tips and information, to the natural beauty of the place, how clean everything was, and how kind the staff were. Stephan was especially amazing, always going the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed. He also helped us book a couple of tours, which turned out great. It’s a place that really stayed with us, and we hope we’ll have the chance to come back one day.

Very nice place. The best thing of the Villa was its location. It is really close to the Southern part where the best beaches are. So when choosing have this in mind. Host was helpful especially before coming. They support us with instructions how to get visas and to prepare things for our coming. The place is located among a lot of trees so you don't feel the heat so much.
