Wow! What a place. The location is great, close to the ferry terminal and the Main street, but in the end of a street so it is nice and quite and super lush. You will be surrounded by bananas, palms and fruit trees, flowers and birds chirping. And thats just the Surroundings! Charles and Doris are the best hosts. Super friendly and helpful. Sharing their stories and information about the seychelles, nature conservation and life in La Digue. They made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. I thank I've never felt anywhere more welcoming besides my mum's house. True value for money. Our room had everything we needed and great air-conditioning. The breakfast was over the top and I loved the outside shower and chill area. Make sure you spend a few nights here in La Digue!

“Our stay at la digue”

The location is surrounded by nature, making it very quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious, and we really appreciated the beach bag they provided for us to use. The bed was made beautifully every day, and a fresh bottle of water was left for us daily. The breakfast was large and really good. For my 40th birthday, they even surprised me with a small cake, sang “Happy Birthday” in the morning, and gave me a hug, which I truly appreciated. Doris is extremely kind and attentive. The Wi-Fi was also good. There was an outdoor shower where you could wash your feet, and when we had laundry, Doris kindly offered to spin-dry it for us so it would dry faster.

“True gem in the middle of nature with a super kind host”

We really enjoyed our (unfortunately) short visit at Doris‘ guest house! She and Charles were super kind, friendly and helpful. We felt like being at home. The guest house is a true gem, in the middle of nature one shares the accommodation with diverse plants and animals around :-). The breakfast was incredible good! We will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our 9-night stay at Buisson Guest House! Doris is the sweetest host — so welcoming and friendly. They really made us feel at home. Our room was big and extremely clean. The location couldn’t have been better - it was about a 5 minute walk to town, but just far enough out that it was super quiet and relaxing. We were also able to do laundry and rent bikes right from them, which was super convenient. Doris also booked 2 amazing tours for us, which was so helpful! Breakfast was an HUGE highlight. It was so fresh and delicious, some of the fruits even coming from their garden. We traveled for a month and this was hands down the best breakfast we had on the trip. The real highlight, though, was Doris. She has such a warm way of making you feel cared for, and that made our stay really special. It was honestly so hard to leave. Highly recommend staying here — we’d come back in a heartbeat!!

From the moment we stepped into the garden filled with tropical flowers, we knew we were in for a special stay. The house is a gem. The interior is simple yet tasteful: bright rooms, perfectly working air conditioning (a blessing after a day of cycling in the sun), and impeccable cleanliness – everything sparkles, from the cool tile floors to the crisp white linens, as fresh as ocean foam. Delicious breakfast, with fresh juice and fruit every day. But the true treasure of this place is Doris. A host like no other – warm, attentive, always with a genuine smile and kind words. She welcomed us with fresh mango juice and shared stories about the island. Doris didn’t just host us – she embraced us, always attentive to our needs and wishes. For us, it was more than accommodation – it was a soulful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it. If you ever find yourself in La Digue and want to truly feel the island, look for Doris. It's impossible not to fall in love with this place.

“Comfortable stay with excellent breakfast”

We are a family with two young children and stayed in one of the rooms at this guesthouse. The space included two air-conditioned bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. It was well decorated, clean, and cozy. A refrigerator was also available, and Wi-Fi was free of charge. We were warmly welcomed by Charles, who gave us some helpful advice about visiting the island. The outdoor area is very well maintained. It is worth noting that the guesthouse is not located in the town center, requiring about a 7-minute walk (or a bicycle, which can be rented on-site or from one of the many rental companies nearby). What we enjoyed most about this experience was the breakfast, which was absolutely delicious and offered a wide variety of options (eggs, pancakes, juice, coffee, bread, etc.). As we were leaving very early on the last day, Doris prepared a packed breakfast for us to take along and enjoy on the way (sandwiches, pancakes, and juices).

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The garden is beautiful and very well kept, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The house itself is cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, especially Doreen, who made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfasts were delicious, with fresh homemade dishes and freshly squeezed juice every morning. Everything was clean, tidy, and beautifully maintained. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and a charming environment.

“Calm and sweet”

The accomodation was perfect, way better than what we expected relying on the pictures. Everything was clean, organized, they pay attention to detail. The garden is beyond amazing, the apartment has a sweet vibe. The breakfast was beyond perfect, many treats to try, banana and papaya jam, pancakes, eggs, fruits and so on. We loved every minute of our stay and even leaving, we got a care package instead of a breakfast as we left very early. We also loved the board games in the common area. The host was kind and caring. The house is a 5-10 minutes walk from the port.

Nice garden outside, comfortable beds. Shower has good water pressure which is not that common in Seychelles. The host very welcoming and helpful. Close to the ferry (10 mins walk) but to be honest everywhere on the island is close as it is a small island. You can leave your luggage after check out and there is an outdoor shower you can use after you have checked out which is great.

“A perfect little place”

We had a perfect one night stay at the Guesthouse. We stayed in the Hibiscus room which was spotless and very cozy, the attention to detail was amazing! We slept so well and enjoyed an amazing breakfast - the best we had during our Seychelles trip. You can hire bikes and beach towels from them which was so handy! Thank you so much to Doris and her team, you really made our stay memorable. We can’t wait to return!

An absolutely wonderful stay here at Buisson Guesthouse. Such a warm welcome from Doris and lots of very helpful tips and friendly chat. Doris kindly sorted us out with bike rental at half the price of other providers. Excellent room with a great deal of care taken over presentation. Very clean - everything spotless. Excellent breakfast in the morning with pancakes, omelettes, a fruit platter, etc. A truly first rate experience. Thank you so much!

We liked the garden, we felt like as if we’re on a small village, very clean rooms and delicious breakfast. The hosts were also welcoming and helpful, also quite talkative. Nice shower outside the rooms so that you can get the sand off of you.
