“Queen for the night!”
The owner was a very nice lady. She welcomed us and showed us around. The space was clean and sophisticated. We had the queen room with access to another room with tea and coffee making facilities. Gowns were supplied to use for the indoor hot tub area on the ground floor. Hidden in the grounds, was a chicken coup and a beehive. From the window, you could see an automated lawn mower silently trimming the lawns. Everything was idyllic, with views from the bedroom of the pool and patio with sun loungers. The bathroom was large too, with a beautiful bath area, walk in shower and a separate toilet. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of cheese, a baton of bread, croissant, jams, butter and strawberries. Fresh juice was provided, along with a fruit bowl. Perfect for a quiet, luxurious stay.

“Peaceful Chateau Stay with Great Hosts and Delicious Breakfast”
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful chateau near Nantes. The place is peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated, and the bathroom, complete with a French tub, felt luxurious. The pool was great for relaxing, and the jacuzzi (indoor) was perfect after a day of exploring. The very French breakfast was a highlight: a high-quality selection of artisanal local products. Not a huge variety, but everything was fresh and delicious. You do have to ask for the eggs — and they are worth it, absolutely delicious. The owners were extremely kind, hospitable, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful place to stay for a few days if you’re looking for charm, comfort, and tranquility.

“Excellent Chateau, rooms, facilities and friendly hosts”
Chateau was amazing, very nicely renovated with big rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent spa and pool. Breakfast was delicious and hosts were very friendly and helpful with all our requests. Definitely stay again next time.

“Perfect stay in the Loire valley”
That seem like a B&B place but with charm, history and modernised facilities. The staff is very hospitable. What I enjoy is the breakfast on the terrace. Fresh bread, home made jams and butter, eggs that were just hatched - it's like a dream stay. There's a path in the woods around the house. The room is so spacious you can dance there. The air-conditioner I guess is built-in as there's ventilation and fresh air.

The friendly welcome from the owners Frederika and Philip. The style and opulence, the modern interiors so skillfully put together. The sheer beauty of the restored building and grounds. The exceptional delicious breakfast. The passion the owners put into restoring Domaine de la Mazure. Exceptional, exceptional, exceptional. Also proximity to the velo cycle routes, perfect location for us.
