It was amazing to the point where when we arrived hot from our walk staff gave us a beer gratis they couldn't do enough for us .

The owner is amazing. After a long and wet day on the Camino he was so welcoming. We had a lovely room and everything was clean and tidy.

“Fabulous up market accommodation on the Camino Del Norte route”
This is a stunningly beautiful accommodation with tasteful decor and furnishings all through the property. The rooms are good size and nice modern fixtures and fittings. The host is so welcoming, and even through neither of us could speak each others language he made me feel really welcome and was helpful with advice on local dining options. For the quality of the accommodation I felt the price was reasonable

“Beautiful property and gracious host! We were offered, and accepted, a couple of cold beers while checking in.”
Interestingly and very well decorated and maintained. A pleasure just to look around at the architecture and furnishings. And QUIET! Such a good sleep!

“Lovely hotel”
Very friendly welcome by the staff who even gave us a free beer! Hotel set in lovely grounds and our room was very clean. The very nice man at reception even gave me a cupcake as I left in the morning! Highly recommended hotel!!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Meticulously set up. The hotelier went out of his way to look after us on those little personal touches - like heating a dish for us, and providing wine glasses etc. The room was glorious.

Beautiful 180 years old building remodeled to present standards. Excellent location, very close to 2 restaurants with very good seafood. The owner, Pepin, is very friendly, and had a cold beer ready for me when I arrived! Rooms are huge!

The rooms are very very clean and have a unique charm! The host goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Compared to other similar places, the breakfast is good (but not amazing). Free parking.

“Nice stay at Hotel Rural Casa Xusto”
Nice stay, very calm environment, owner opened to discussion and gave lots of advice for the dinner (Playa Porcia) and for the breakfast (we had a super good one here at the Valkenburg Cafe in the center of La Caridad). Rooms were cleaned and we felt very welcomed in the hotel.

“Warm welcome”
Arrived cold and wet after a long day on the Camino. An exceptional welcome from the host who, whilst I was getting my passport, quickly delivered a beer ! Later that evening, as I was heading into town, he stopped his car and told me to jump in as he was heading that way ! The house has been carefully restored with a good eye for detail and very quiet. Slept like a baby !
