Overview
Located in La Brigue, Auberge Saint Martin is the ideal location for hiking in the Casterino Valleys. It offers a terrace, bar and restaurant and is only 500 metres from the train station. Decorated in a simple style, all rooms feature a wardrobe, wooden flooring and heating, while others have a view of the mountains. All have a bath or shower in the room and some have access to a shared toilet. A buffet breakfast serving local cheeses, cold meat, pastries and fresh bread or a simple continental breakfast is available. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine in the on-site restaurant, where a half-board option is offered. Limone Ski Resort is only a 30-minute drive away and ski passes are sold in reception. The Italian border can be reached by car in 20 minutes and free Wi-Fi access is provided throughout.

The owners and staff were exceptional! They make a great team. The accommodation is charming and has a nice relaxing atmosphere, it was spotlessly clean, and good value. The restaurant is delicious, with plenty of variety and an amazing chef, who you can see working hard through the windows to the kitchen. I believe it is always a good sign to see the locals eating at a restaurant! Breakfast is huge and good value! I was made to feel very welcome on arrival. The location is perfect, with lots of nice walks nearby. Parking is right in front of the hotel and is safe. I found the local people friendly and there is a nice atmosphere to the village. I enjoyed strolling around through the windy medival village after a good meal. Highly recommend!
