“Worse experience than at 90% of our stays elsewhere.”

Our stay of 4 nights was neither long nor short, but it was below expectations. The sofa bed was different (it was worse, to be specific) than shown in the pictures. In all fairness, the kitchen equipment was better than shown in pictures, as it included a microwave. The bunk bed pictures are misleading as one bed (width = 140cm) can hardly accommodate two adults. We only had one bed sheet for both beds. When we asked the host for a second sheet we were told this: "As you booked for 2 adults without special ask for 2 beds, I prepared automatically 1 double bed, Have a look under the bed, normall you should find a blue/gray box with extra sheets. Unfortunately, I am not available to come before the end of your stay". Needless to say, there was no other clean sheet in the room. Result = I had to sleep in the same bed with my son, who is 17 years old and a basketball player with 1,80m height. I found the lack of sheets as well as the response to be very unprofessional. Other frustrating aspects: No tv, No internet/wifi. Yes, if you read the listing's details these things are mentioned, but who reads all the footprint and who expects to find no tv and no wifi in 2024 in an tourist accommodation? Out of the five days, two were raining so we stayed in our room using our roaming internet allowance. Other disappointing aspects: The room only had 2 small towels, despite the bath pictures suggesting otherwise. There was only 1 (ONE) toilet paper roll for 2 adults for 5 days and absolutely no paper towels. There was no head protection. If you sit on the lower bunk bed and sit up, you automatically hit your head to the upper bed. A soft cushion could be attached to the underside of the upper bed. My son hit his head 3 times, one on the corner of the bed. Really, really unpleasant experience that could easily be avoided.

Great location. Small but clean place. Good comunication from host.

Total confort is relative...but here it is definitely related to being on spot for ski, snowshoe (if snow), hiking and cycling. Everyone can do their thing without having to take the car. Free parking near the resort is a plus too. Bus to La Bresse if you want to go to the charming Christmas market. Calme... You find peace in the view from the studio. Or if you need auditive calm, just crossforest your way up to the mountains behind and you are good 😊 Other thing, lots of communication with host. Policy related to pets changed between booking and stay, but hosts sticked with the initially offered which is overly correct. Plenty of dogs in the apartment house anyway...

Excellent location. Nice appartment. A very helpful host
