1. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, and they took the time to tell us about the village and the surrounding area, which was very helpful. 2. The hotel and its grounds are beautiful and well maintained. In fact, we wished we had spent more time there, especially in the peaceful private garden area, which is perfect for relaxing. 3. Our room was quite spacious, featuring a large comfortable bed and a wonderful balcony overlooking the inner garden. The view was lovely and added a lot to the overall experience.

“Excellent location, lovely staff and comfortable stay”

The staff were very understanding and kind - we came to this hotel after having our reservation cancelled last minute with no warning by one of the more popular hotels. We were lucky enough to find a room at Antiguas Eras La Alberca and the receptionist was kind enough to give us a free upgrade. The location was very good - less than 5 minutes walking to the centre of the town, but as the hotel wasn't in the centre, the area felt tranquil and the view were beautiful. The facilities were excellent, feeling clean and up to date without disrupting the historic feel of the hotel.

Nice hotel in this lovely town. Plenty of parking right outside the hotel. Room with balcony overlooking some cherry trees and the garden. Decent breakfast. Very helpful reception staff.

Everything.The beautiful furnishings; the simple breakfasts; the garden and the fantastic pool across the little road. Most of all though, the staff for their helpfulness and care. The proprietor, Jose Maria especially.We were grateful for his suggestions of places to visit and his lovely manner.

Fantastic setting only minutes walk to historic center of town. Kitchenette and terrace a lovely touch to chill out!!

This is a lovely place and the host was kind and friendly. All staff here are very nice and do everything to make your stay comfortable. The bedroom was excellent with a comfortable bed and a spacious and clean bathroom. The breakfast was a real highlight and full of delicious food. Given that we were about to go cycling, having a mix of cereals, toast, and fruits was perfect. I really recommend this hotel which is very good value for money.
