The friendly welcome and hospitality shown at Pension Akropolis was outstanding. What a fantastic experience staying at Anna’s wonderful pension. Anna was so so helpful. The best place we stayed in Karpathos. Clean and well appointed rooms with a shared balcony overlooking the sea. Absolutely stunning views. Breakfast was delicious , represented great value and was served with a smile by lovely Nino. The whole experience was straight out of a movie! Can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you Anna.❤️

Absolutely stunning views and a breathtaking location - this place is truly special! While it might be a bit challenging to get around without a vehicle, the scenery and atmosphere make it well worth any inconvenience. The real highlight, though, is the exceptional hospitality from owner Anna, who went above and beyond to accommodate my unexpected change of plans when I missed my ferry and had to extend my stay. Her kindness, helpfulness, and flexibility made all the difference. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming getaway!

Beautiful sea view from our room. Anna was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Very quite location with beautiful little beaches. Only fault, we have to climb 75 steps to get to our room which was at the very top of the building. Was worth it for the splendid view.

Beautiful family run pension with the best view in Karpathos.

When places are just "good" or "bad", we always leave a review. When a place is Very very special, we sometimes don't....... Some places you really want to keep to yourselves! This time we are making an exception, as the incredible Pension Akropolis is "new" to Booking.com We discovered them 5 years ago when we visited the magical Kira Panagia, very well hidden on the rock directly facing the open sea. We were not able to see it, but we followed our noses and the beautiful smells of the kitchen that promised so much comfort! Ever since we discovered this place we have not stopped talking about it...... This year, after such difficult times with the pandemic, we realised how much we missed Karpathos and the Amazing people there. Re-visiting was like coming back to see your favourite Auntie and Uncle. Ana and Stamatis are the most incredible hosts - So warm, their hospitality comes completely naturally. We wined and dined on delicious homemade meals in their spectacular "Taverna", and were treated to one of their most beautiful studios! Life-changing Views from inside and outside of your room. You feel absolutely cared for at all times :-)) The whole building was designed by Stamatis, and it is one of the most Romantic buildings you will ever see. The setting is beyond Beautiful!!! Wherever you turn, it's a postcard! The Sunrise on your Private balcony is breathtaking! There is so much beauty around you, that sleeping almost feels like a waste of time.... The Beach is just 2-3mins easy walk from the Hotel. Lots of Love from B&W xxxx
