Beautiful accommodation, everything worked as it should and very spacious. Everything you need you could find in the apartment. Very good amenities, location in a calm part, but easily accessible. The host was very attentive and super nice and knowledgeable. The apartment gave us a really Japanese feel and vibe. I would highly recommend it and will be returning next year for my next visit.

Yumi is a great, responsive host, meeting us at check in to explain about the property and how to get around. Quiet location next to a river, with grocery stores nearby. Heated floor, comfortable mattresses. Big wooden bath, that my young adults children enjoyed. Kitchen is basic, but enough to dish out simple soupy meals.

We loved the layout of the house and the spaciousness when we first walked in. The garden area is a highlight and binds the whole house together. Especially the bathroom on the second floor is really well made and makes for a great evening bath with view into the garden.

A perfect place to stay in Kyoto. It is beautiful and is in a. Great location on river. It has everything a family needs and is very comfortable. The two inside outside gardens are so beautiful and make the place so special. The property manager is so helpful and even helped arrange our luggage transfer and gave us loads of tips on where to go etc All round the best place I have stayed and I travel a lot

“Stylish and cosy home away from home”

Wonderful warm host, stylish architectural design and great location. The house is about a 15-20 min flat walk to central Kyoto, in a quiet friendly neighbourhood with plenty of trendy coffee shops and restaurants. We appreciated the way Yumi greeted us at the property, gave us a tour of the house, helped us plan our itinerary for the week, and booked us into a beautiful restaurant for dinner! The house felt both modern and minimalist but at the same time traditional and cosy. All beds were very comfortable.

Beautiful house. Was great to be able to wash and dry clothes and cook and eat a meal there.

We really enjoyed our stay in Wuz Kamogawa a lot! The location is excellent and the house a real treasure! It was truly a japanese experience!

Staff is so kind, helpful, and really fluent in English! This place is fully equipped(a/c system, hinoki bath tub, bose audio and even balmuda oven!), and a fresh mixture between japanese traditional ryokan and modern house! The small garden inside of the house is so beautiful! The surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful!

The property is in a lovely location and it really stylish! I loved the styling, the internal garden and lighting. Our host Yumi was lovely and really helpful. she responded quickly to messages. The kitchen had oil, pepper, tea, coffee, washing powder, toothbrush etc. Amazing!!
