“Great for Solo Traveller , Convenient too”
I had a very pleasant stay in Kyoto. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, making it comfortable throughout my visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location was excellent, with convenient access to a nearby konbini, subway station, Nishiki Market, and Teramachi Shopping Street all within easy reach. It was very easy to get around and explore the city from here. Overall, it was a great stay with good value, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto who wants a convenient and comfortable base.

Staff seem to use area below windows as a smoking area, loud deliveries & service workers can be heard quite loudly at break times.

Overall, my stay was alright. The biggest advantage of this place is definitely the location—it’s right in the center, and within just a few minutes’ walk you can reach the shopping streets and Nishiki Market, which was my main priority. Considering how expensive Kyoto can be, the hotel felt fairly average for the price. The room and bed were decent enough for a short stay.

“Great in Kyoto”
Short 5 minute walk to Shijo station. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Pillow was a hard Japanese style but reception gave me a soft one on request. Lots of food places, cafes, restaurants so many hard to choose. 10 minutes walk to Nishiki markets. Great choice.

“Nice hotel close to everything you need”
Nice clean hotel close to public transport and heaps of shops and restaurants but still in a fairly quiet area. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Nice breakfast
