Nice, welcoming and helping staff. The room is spacious, larger than most of the hotels at the same price level in Kyoto. The whole place is neat and tidy, the equipments are new and well functioning. Location is OK, it is at the middle of everywhere.

“Fabulous stylish small hotel we absolutely loved!”

We travel overseas frequently and this has been one of our most favourite hotels ever. We booked the one bedroom with the Japanese garden and it was the size of a small apartment. Beautifully appointed with very thoughtful touches. Staff and location fabulous. An 8/10 minute walk to the subway and not much further to the Nishiki market. We loved the residential area its located in and plenty of convenience stores nearby for delicious snacks.

Staff were first rate, room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. We spent 4 nights here and had everything we needed. Best hotel we stayed in whilst in Japan. Good location in quiet street and easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and temples. Felt like home.

The staff were very attentive, and responsive to all our requests, the rooms spacious with separate living areas and laundry room very useful. Great location and access to Nishiki markets. And local sites, palace shrines and sub way train station. We took the option of hirng bikes from reception which was great to get around. The daily breakfast and morning delivery was a standout and a great way to start the day!

Very comfortable suite, we also had a garden view which was lovely. Suite is well designed, with a separate bedroom, toilet, shower/bathroom, walk-in robe/storage/laundry, kitchenette with lounge. Lobby is very nicely scented and beautiful itself with a zen garden.
