“I think Sakura apartments is a very good value for money.”
Location is perfect! It is very close to Gion and Sanyo district. Plus, the metro station and bus stop is in 2-3 minutes by walk. The room was bigger than in hotel. So we had more than enough space for two.

“Very convenient and comfortable .Would stay here again.”
Self catering apartment. Well equipped and not far from a supermarket and a handy local shop. No breakfast option. Very good location. And beautiful. Just minutes from the canal. Quiet but with easy access to many useful buses. And walking distance from important sites like Meiji and Gion.

“Modern, spacious, clean & convenient!!”
We liked the quiet, convenient location which was a short walk to a bus stop and a subway station. Also a level walk to the Gion area. The room itself was spacious and clean with a small kitchen & a clothes washer - really handy after 4 weeks traveling in Japan. The staff were very helpful and their English is excellent. Highly recommend

“Group Trip”
Location was perfect! Walking distance from many food and temple locations. Also a short walk from the metro so day trips were no problem.

“Really nice”
Excellent location, close to the canal which lovely to walk along. Close to shops and an excellent French bakery just up the road. Super friendly staff. They also use suitcase delivery, delivered our suitcases to the next hotel. Was fantastic.

Excellent value for money, in a cute neighbourhood, within walking distance of some of Kyotos main attractions. Close to train station, large rooms, and comfortable beds. Washing machine was great to get our laundry done.

“Spacious and good value for money”
Location was great, quiet but very close to transportation and some of the more touristy areas. Very spacious room and bathroom for Japan standards. Comfortable beds. Ability to do laundry without having to pay extra.

“Great location in an interesting neighbourhood.”
We loved the location, close to some of the shrines and walking distance to Gion district. There were some great little restaurants and daily marts nearby. It was also great to be able to wash clothes and to have a good little refrigerator.

Location is perfect if you want to see all Kyoto. You will need to use bus and trains mostly as kyoto is big, but you have them near.

“Very good and spacious hotel with just a small downside”
The hotel is very well located with plenty of bus station and even a metro station at less than 5min of walking distance. There are 2 convenience store nearby especially Fresco which is amazing if you want to eat cheap and good quality bentō. The room is very spacious if feels like you are in your own apartment

“Wonderful stay in a great Kyoto location!”
The location of this property was absolutely wonderful. It had plenty of towels, amenities and an in room washing machine. We found the staff to be helpful and the neighbourhood to be quiet. Close to public transport, grocery stores and anything you could need.
