“Beautiful stay in traditional Kyoto house for larger groups.”
The location is superb - very close to all major attractions, so we were able to walk everywhere. The house itself is beautiful and spacious, so our group didn’t feel too crammed in while still experiencing a traditional Kyoto-style machiya. The check-in and check-out procedures were very quick and easy.

“An atmospheric house in a good location”
The decor and atmosphere of the house were great, and I think I can say, I will never stay somewhere like that again. It was a real experience. The location was great - near major temples etc (taxi from the station had trouble finding it despite Google maps so maybe get yours to drop you off at the main road and walk the last few metres – it’s no trouble). It was really easy to gain access and we loved the slippers at the door. The washing machine was useful and we loved the underfloor heating on a cold day. Friends loved soaking in the bath after a long day sightseeing.

“An atmospheric house in a good location”
The decor and atmosphere of the house were great, and I think I can say, I will never stay somewhere like that again. It was a real experience. The location was great - near major temples etc (taxi from the station had trouble finding it despite Google maps so maybe get yours to drop you off at the main road and walk the last few metres – it’s no trouble).
