“Peaceful, hidden gem close to the Kyotogyoen Park.”

Beautiful, unique and peaceful accomodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious apartment for three. A little further away from the centre in a quieter neighborhood. By taxi everything was easily reachable.

“PERFECT but kind of far from the subway”

The room 5 was awesome ! But nothing compares to your bathroom it was incredible! The free food and free lunch were very good and the staff so helpfull and kind!

Loved everything about it! The staff were so helpfully and kind. The are is so peaceful and quiet, great to come back to and relax in the evening. So much space too! The bathroom was awesome, great rainfall shower and the wood bathtub made a lovely smell when filled. The free snacks and drinks were very hospitable too. Easily the best place we stayed the entire time, wish we could have stayed longer!

“Perfect stay in Kyoto”

This was such a beautiful stay. The little street where the apartments were was very private from the road. Really clean everywhere, spotless. Comfy beds and nice to have a separate area seating area. This was my favourite stay in Japan and we would do it again. Helpful staff. Great quiet location with easy access to busier parts. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful place hidden away from the main area. We wanted to try out a different place because we stayed at mostly modern hotels. I loved that it was in a quieter location!

A lovely quiet location away from the busy tourist areas. Some restaurants were within walking distance however most required us to travel further afield. It was nice to have a simple breakfast and a bar service at the beginning and end of each day.

A perfect escape into the past with all the comforts of the present. This was my favorite accomodation in Japan and is automatically on my list of hotels to revisit. The facilities, the friendliness of the staff and rhe afternoon tea where just a few of the highlights that made our Kyoto trip special.

“Amazing place & amazing staff”

Absolutely stunning

Lovely townhouse. Booked no. 10, Family of four . Two teenagers. Two storied traditional house. Ground floor has kitchenette, four seater table and a separate tatami room on ground floor . Shower, tub and a separate toilet on ground floor. Comfortable stairs to the top leads to two bedrooms, one room with futon and other with a double bed. There is a toilet on the first floor too. All areas of the houee are very spacious. The staff are lovely and helpful. The common room has drinks and small eats all through the day. A coin laundry is near common area. We used taxi to get to most areas. But the public transport options are doable. The property exceeded my expectations and photos are as actuals. Good noiseless sleep quality. There are Family mart and Fresco department store in walking distance.

Amazing experience - narrow yard hosts 6 small townhouses. The rooms are very subtle in measurements (my 192cm meant constant hitting my head everywhere) but very cozy. definitely recommended

Very helpful stuff that agreed to store our suitcases after check out and helped us with getting taxi to the train station (even helped lifting the heavy suitcase). Very modern room with both western and Japanese elements.
